Could use some menu ideas... Besides the staples of burgers and dogs.. I wanted to make some food to go with the idea of the luau.

I was thinking some kind of pineapple chicken... I can precook it and then rehit it on the BBQ that night ...
Fruit with a great tangy hawaiian dip... I was given a recipe of condensed milk plus OJ ... you add it to the fruit and it's delish they say! For dipping purposes maybe.

Any ideas would be great -- already hit the dollar store in my area and bought a bunch of luau decorations and lei's ;)

How about mini-salad kebabs (cherry tomatoes, bits of cucumber, bell pepper etc.) on cocktail sticks and stuck into a pineapple? (You can eat the pineapple the next day;) )

head on over to our Disney recipe thread (it's in this forum) and check out some of the recipes from 'Ohana and the Poly Luau; most are easy to make and your guests will love them ! Best of luck to you
