Hi everyone, I've been reading the boards for a couple days now (still pretty lost, cause I have no idea what any of the abbreviations are) and I have a few questions for all of you if its ok :)

My fiance and I are planning on taking our honeymoon in Disney World in February, 2006. The wedding is on Feb 25, and we hope to leave on either the 26th or 27th, and we will be staying for about a week. Here are my questions: :)

Is this an ok time of year to go?

Will it be hot in Florida in the end of Feb / beginning of March? How hot? (like, shorts weather, or will I want to wear mostly jeans? Will it be warm enough to visit the water parks and sea world?)

Does it usually rain a lot at the end of Feb / beginning of March?

Will the park be really really crowded that week? Is it less fun when its really really crowded?

Does anyone know where we could order the wedding ears ahead of time? I know its dorky, but I totally want to wear them at the rehersal dinner the night before the wedding!!

Does anyone know where I could get a really cute Disney cake topper?

I know I have a lot of questions, and I hope I'm not being a pain!! Everyone here totally seems to know what they're talking about, this is my second trip, and I have really great memories from my first one, but I was only three and I am sure things have changed since then!!

Thank you all so much for your help! :flower:

We will be there at the same time(Feb21-March 3) :wave2:
We went during this time in 2003. It was busy but not as much as the time we went at the end of March begining of April 2001.
We had nice weather. Tshirts and shorts all day, a couple nights long pants and a light summer jacket.
We did go to a water park TL. It was great it was a little cool but this was good cause it ment no lines and no crowds. We even got a sunburn, wear sunscreen if you go even if its cool the sun :sunny: is still powerful.
As for the wedding questions I can't help you I've been married for 10 years and it was in Maine :cold: not beautiful Florida ::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo . Good Luck. :bride: :groom:

february is a great time to go, even early march is low/regular season with crowds & rates, spring breakers dont start until end of march & this year 2006 most will be in april because of easter. the weather is nice high 70's low 80's definetly short weather, little rain maybe in the afternoon. as for the wedding ears you can order them through mouseshoppe.com along with other disney wedding items sold at the parks, you can also buy some wedding items at your disney resort store & at the art of disney & reading, writing store at dtd marketplace.

have fun on your honeymoon (what resort are you staying at?) & congrats!

If you are looking for a caketopper try ebay. Also lenox.com has some good ones too and also other disney wedding items. Also try yourfairytale.com. Good luck!

If there is any way, you could try to stay at a moderate, try CBR Caribbean Beach resort or Port Orleans French Quarter POFQ. These are moderates but they can have specials on them that time of year and they are more romantic than the values :goodvibes

I bet things have realllly changed since you were three ;)

Happy Wedding!

I have the disney Lenox Minnie/Mickey statue that I am going to use for my October wedding. I think it's around $100 BUT it's a great keepsake!! If you want to go cheaper, they sell Minnie/Mickey salt and pepper shakers in bride/groom that don't even look like salt and pepper shakers. They are so cute, you could probably find them at disneystore online

Just a suggestion!

Disney Merchandise Guest Services can get you what you need. They can get the hats done and sent to you, and they can get like a mickey and minnie wedding topper. They can actually go through their whole list of merchandise for what you are looking for. I wish I still had the phone number. Just call any resort at the world and they can transfer you or give you the number!!

alright,..... I got it.... go to mouseshoppe (dot com). For some reason I can't type the actual website it and post it. you'll find everything you need there.

I bought our ears off e-bay before the honeymoon. I paid about $30. We wore them at the last dance at our wedding which we danced to "A Whole New World."

I reccomend staying at POFQ and upgrading to a king bed. It's $10 more a night but our room was on the corner and really big and nice.

Can someone tell me how to get my 'ticker' in my signature. I copy and pasted the link, but it's not working in signature ? :confused3

NEVERMIND, I figured it out!
