Rath's are planning for Disney​

So thought is would be fun to do a PRT and TR this time around. Here are the details.

Dates: May 16-24, 2010
Were: POR (our first time)
Cast of Characters Me: wife and mom to 3. Have ALWAYS loved Mickey..
DH: will never let me live down the fact that he had plans to take me to disney and propose but I beat him to the punch and proposed to him on the golf course!! Would take us to Disney every month if he could.
DS (12): who said pre-teen girls are hormonal!!
DD (11): my true blond
DS (9): the sunshine of our days!! He has Down Syndrome and has taught us the beauty and joy of every day. Everything is full of excitment through his eyes!!
We have friends coming with also!! B&M with their 6 (13,12,12,8,8,7)

Current Plans
arriving around 11:30 on the 16th, ME to POR
ADR 2:20 at Hollywood and Vine for all 13 of us! Had planned on going then to MK since no all the kids have ever been to Disney but now with the park closing at 5pm we will have to wait till the next day. Going to do EMH and HS depending on how the kids are holding up (limo arrives at 5am to get us)
17th ADR at 9:20 Crystal Palace: just our 5. Other group is doing Chef Mickeys at 11:05..meet up at MK...do EMH.
18th Birthday celebration at Garden Grill 4:05 for friends DD turning 9!!
19th ADR Donalds Safari Breakfast 10:15 for all 13! (hoping to move it earlier). Plan for rope drop straight to safari ride then to ADR (fingers crossed)
20th Blizzard Beach (please weather man cooperate with us!!) 8pm Luau at Poly
21th Star Wars at HS...ADR at Mama Melrose @ 7:45
22nd Friends go home
23rd ADR Sci-Fi diner (can't remember what time)
24th last day...late flight 8:15pm

OK...so continuing to plan. Trip is 100% paid in full as of April 1st!! I am sooooo excited. Can't wait to get our luggage tags and papers in the mail!!!

Am trying to plan so we can be at MK early on our second day to get pics on main street before the park opens. We have an ADR for Crystal Palace at 9:20 so we will see. I figure we win out either way...we will either get to see rope drop OR we will get to see Main Street empty!!! We will have the morning then to do things with the kids before we meet up with our friends just after lunch time.

Was able to get an 8:05 ADR at Tusker House for our friends on the 20th. We have one for 10:15 for all 13 of us so just have to decide what we want to do. Eat early then hit the safari or hit the safari at rope drop then go eat.

Still need to decide about which service to use for water/snacks and stuff. Heard great things about both garden grocer and wegoshop. Plus have to decide on what to do about other meals we don't have ADR's for.

May is just around the corner!!

Yeah..got an earlier ADR for Crystal Palace on the 17th...8:25!! Now I just have to convince DH that we need to get up for breakfast that early!!!

I want to try and do the photo session but am kind of waiting till our papers get here to see if we can get a discount. We have NEVER had a family picture taken with the 5 of us nor do I have a pic of the kids together since they little.

I think I have most everything else lined up...limo bus will be here around 5am to pick all 13 of us up!! Got a new Palm Pre phone so that I can use the hot spot to keep up with school while I am gone. Need to download mobile magic onto daughters phone since she is the one that has the phone that will run the application!! Have started stocking up on snacks. Still have to decide on grocery service...just not sure how much to purchase!!
Want to puchase new video camera...ours is broke and it will cost as much to fix it as it will to get a new one!! Now just have to decide which one.

Paperwork done for school so kids are good to go...
Still trying to plan out our days....changes by the hour!!
