I'm looking for other families input and what you would do. My trip plan is changing now that our oldest kids can't come with us - it will just be the 15 yo and 3 yo- and because of the MK morning changes. Initially I planned 2 days at Epcot for the food and the older kids, but now we will do 2 days at MK for the little one. (we are going to USL and IOA for the Harry Potter to please the 15yo instead)

We arrive on a Wednesday and head to MK the next morning. Is the morning show worth watching once? Is a PPO breakfast at CP still worth it or no? Would you go for lunch instead?

Chef Mickeys - would you do this mid-day, assuming we were in MK and to take the monorail ride or go here on a non-park day to add character experience? Or take the boat to eat at Whispering Canyon? Is leaving the park for lunch worth it if you still need to swing back to the condo for a nap?

Is a Biergarten lunch on the same day as Akershus breakfast wayyyy too much food? I want to go to Biergarten so bad! But Akershus is the only princess breakfast I booked and there is no way I am going to chase CRT with under 60 days to go.

We are staying offsite and have a car for midday naps/breaks. Thanks for any advice, first time planning a trip with a toddler and a teen!

I wouldn't be able to do an Akershus breakfast and Biergarten lunch in the same day. That's a ton of food!

Personally, I'd recommend lunch at CP rather than PPO. I know that there lots of fans of this approach but I have found that its best not to have a very early morning schedule. I think it leads to unnecessary conflict when you are trying to rush the kiddos. Also, we typically can't eat a lot of food very early.... but by lunch time we are always ready for a big meal.

I also never book more than one reservation for a day - I think that its too much food and too much restaurant time for the kids. So I'd say either Akershus or Biergarten.

Finally, I wouldn't do more than 2 character meals during your trip - just my two cents.
