Planning Help...traveling Solo?

So, I had made plans to head to Disney on November 30th. But I had to cancel because the friend I was going with can no longer go.

I was going down to visit my friend who moved down to Orlando recently and works seasonally at Disney. I am still thinking about going down (will be changing my dates I think too to two weeks later), only I would be doing a lot solo as my friend will have to work during part of my trip. I was also thinking about upgrading from POFQ to AKL. I have never had a desire to stay at AKL before, but with the discount my friend can get me, and the fact that I would like to visit every resort at Disney, I thought this would be a good opportunity to take advantage of it. The only reason I was staying at POFQ is because my friend couldn't afford a Deluxe hotel.

So if anyone can give me any opinions please let me know! I have never done Disney solo and I am a little apprehensive. Thanks!

Doing WDW as a solo can be a lot of fun. There will be a bunch of people from here in WDW while you're there. You can check out this thread to see dates when others will be there. Since you're thinking of adjusting your dates, this might help.

Thanks! I will check it out when I get home! My new dates would be the 11th-15th. My friend has Su & Mo off, so I would get to spend more time with her this way, then do my own thing while she is at work.
