Hi I am going to Disney next week 2/18-2/25.

I know it will be packed, however I am traveling with 5 adults and was wondering if there was any adivce you can offer me to avoid the most crowded times of the day?

I am staying on disney grounds.

Thanks

I would suggest going to you local bookstore and purchasing the Unoficial Guide to Walt Disney World. There are lots of hints in there on avoiding the crowds and special tour plans for adults.

Have a great trip.

As a rule, get up and get to the parks when they open (or take advantage of extra magic hours since you're staying on site). We've been every time of year, from the slowest time in January to madhouse Christmas week, and this rule never fails us. Pick a park, arrive 15-20 minutes before opening, and you'll be amazed how much you can get done. It never fails that the crowds all show up at about 11 am. By that time, you'll have a ton done and can stop for a bite to eat or move on to another park!

I agree, the best thing to do is to be at the park prior to opening. In fact, that's what the Unofficial Guide tells you to do. I highly recomend the book, you'll be glad you bought it, even if you don't follow the touring guides at the back of the book.
