I am ready to take another trip to Disneyland. Last time I went early June. It wasn't that crowded, but ended there on Grad nights. Don't want to d o that again.

My question is which is better June, July or August. I am taking my kids they will be 9 and 12, DH, and I think my mom this time. We are planning 7 day to california, and of ourse want to hit up some other places. Let me know what you think I need to hurry so I can pay through my DVC!

Early June or mid/late August. Don't go in July because every day is crowded. Make sure you go when the hours are 8-12, 10-9/10 because you can get tons done in the early/late hours and crowds are more spread out.

We went in July this year. Crowded? Yes, very but it was still manageable. I haven't been in August and my last June trip was years ago so I really can't say but our July was just fine.

Thank you for the replies. Our first trip was in June, it was a really nice time, I just wanted to know if another time in the summer would be better. I hear the weather is really nice over the summer

I have been in all three months in recent years. FWIW, here is some weather info:

From this link: www.wrcc.dri.edu/cgi-bin/cliMAIN.pl?ca0192 (Period of Record: 8/1/1989 to 12/31/2005)

June: Average High 80.2F (26.8C), Average Low 60.5F (15.8C)
July: Average High 84.4F (29.1C), Average Low 63.7F (17.6C)
August: Average High 86.8F (30.4C), Average Low 64.2F (17.9C)

The weather gets warmer as the summer progresses, but IMO it is still manageable.

IMO, once you get to around June 20 until about Aug 20, the crowds will all be about the same. With a nearby walking distance hotel, an early start each day, and an afternoon break, the crowds on weekdays (Mon-Thurs)have seemed manageable to me.

I would say all else being equal, late June is better because of the slightly cooler weather. Other than that, I would choose whichever week works best for you as I do not think there is much difference other than heat. Stay away from July 4th week.
