Hi,

I know that we have not gone on our trip yet this year, we will be at the Dolphin from Aug 12th through the 16th of this year, but I am already planning our trips for next year. I am thinking of a short five day trip in May and then our regular ten day trip in Sept.

So here is my question, what are the best rates that people were able to get using discounts this May. I am interested in the AKL, BWI, YC/BC and the Swan/Dolphin.

So what were the room prices using AP, DC, AAA or regular code discounts for the rooms? Any ideas would be great.

I was at the BWI this May6-13 and paid $1624 that includes tax. This was an AP rate. As soon as we got back I've been busy planning our next trip in Nov.2003. It's addicting!

Thanks for the reply Desnik. Do you remember what view this was for? Standard,Garden or Water?

I agree that planning is addictive. I have dates planned out through 2004. Hoping to get three trips out of our AP's that we are going to buy for the May 2003 trip.

bump.

Anyone else willing to share what they paid for their room this May?

May 18-26 @ CBR $94 per night $104 with tax for a waterview using postcard rate.

I'm looking for Sept or Next May. Will use AP rate at worst. Looking for better code too.

May 1 - 6, we paid $129/nt. at WL and at check-in, were upgraded to a woodsview for the same price.

Sorry I couldn't get back to you sooner! That price was for a standard view. Our room was 3304 and we had a view of the top of Spaceship Earth(could really see the part where it said "Epcot")we also had a perfect view of the Eifel Tower and could see the higher fireworks from Illuminations as well as hearing the music perfectly from that show as well as ToD!! I requested this view when making my ressies and I faxed them 3 days before our trip. Happy planning!!:D

We were at AKL Apr 25 - May 2 this year. We paid $205/night which was a postcard rate. This was without tax and was for a savannah view. We found the parks more crowded than past May trips. Next time I'd go around May 10-17 or there about - just a little bit farther into May, but not too close to memorial Day. Enjoy you planning. Wish I could start planning again!

Thanks for all of the replies. I had a busy week at work so I have not been on the boards for a few days. Thanks again to all.
