Planning for 2013....who else?

2013 is a long ways away. Don't wish time away, but try to enjoy your non-Disney time too!:)

We are looking at October 2013 for DH's 40th at BWV for F & W. At least a 2 BR (assuming his parents will go), grand villa if we need it. We are going this August and will try really hard to wait two years. We need the in-laws DVC points to reaccumulate (or for them to buy more) so we all have to be good.

I'm interested in the Art of Animation resort too, BUT my question is since it's more of a value resort does that mean we only get quick service as the free dining package in Sept-Oct?? We're upgrading to the Carribbean beach because we want the real dining package for free!!

Just got back from my first ever Disneyworld vacation on the 14th of June. I completely fell in love and can't wait to get back. My 2.5 yr old daughter and I were there for a grand gather of 10. At 2.5 she loved Disney so I can't wait to bring her back in 2013 when she'll be 4.5 yrs. old. The 2013 trip will consist of a much smaller group of 4 or 3 depending on whether or not my bff's daughter will want to tag along...she's graduating highschool next year so who knows.

My first experience with a Disney resort was the Treehouse Villas at Saratoga Springs. I loved it, but I want to experience the other resorts Disney has to offer. So, next trip, 2013, i'm looking at a couple of moderate resorts -- Port of New Orleans - French Quarters or Coronoda Springs. I'm also hoping to get some type of discount and would prefer to get free dining.

I'm not sure about the dates in 2013, but do know that it'll be sometime between April and June or September and November.

Let the planning begin :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

We will be going in October 2013 to celebrate DS's 7th birthday. We went back in 08, when he was almost two and I have been dreaming about going again ever since. We plan on staying at the Poly for two weeks!! :woohoo: Ironically, I'm pregnant right now and the baby will be almost two when we go, just like DS was the first time he went.

Looks like we won't be going back until 2013 as well. We were planning on going in August next year, but we recently found out we are expecting baby #3, so we are going to postpone a year.

Thats okay...we were kind of going too often lately. This way it will get back to being a special vacation that we look forward to, rather than something that happens every year.

Plus this way, Fantasyland should be done.

When we go will depend on what kind of discounts are available then.

We are planning a trip in 2013 as well. When we go the twins will be 3.5 and my oldest will be 5.5. We are all excited since this will be their first trip to Disney. :cool1: As of right now we are trying to do a lot of research on the best place for us to stay and if we should bring my sister. I love all this planning!! :)
I'm so glad I'm not the only one on here planning this far in advance. :rotfl:

We are planning a November 2013 trip to see the Christmas decorations and to attend MVMCP. DD will be in K but I should still be able to pull her out without a problem. After K though it may not be possible so we're going while we can still avoid insane crowds.

I guess I forgot to say that we are going in June right after school gets out since I am a teacher. :cool1:

Count us in! We are going to WDW in April 2012 for spring break but will be leaving baby #4 (due in Dec 2011) with my parents. I hope to go again in October 2013 when my older kids have a week-long fall break. Our kids will be 7, 7, almost 3, and almost 2. If I can't convince DH for 2013, we're definitely doing October 2014! :thumbsup2

I"m here, I'm here!!!

Count me in... our once every 5 year trip that we take... MNSSHP over Halloween week... Have the entire trip planned in my head... Now if I could start paying for it. :thumbsup2

Ugh, really struggling lately with not being able to go back for two more years! I should really stay off the DIS and get on with life for the next year or so until its time to start planning...but, that's no fun! :)

This will be the longest break we've had from Disney since our 2000-2003 hiatus. It stinks!

However, we are looking at staying at Contemporary for the first time (we had been Pop Century loyalists) so looking forward to planning something new, and having the extra time to save more money.

Like I said in my last post a page back though, we HAVE been there a lot, especially the past 10 years, and hopefully this break will make our next trip that much more special!

I'm trying to be positive...but it still stinks!

I am hoping to go either in November or December 2013 to see the Christmas decorations. If not I will be going in November/December 2014!

Anyone on the 2014 planning??? lol.

You can always put the money aside each week or month like you are paying for it, and then when it comes time to book it you will have a lump sum to put on it:thumbsup2

Bumping...any new 2013 planners?

All this talk of the 2012 free dining being announced is making me try to anticipate what will be offered in 2013. Hoping despite Disney saying they are cutting back on discounts, that they at least keep the usual late August - September free dining.

Count me in! Planning on December 2013 (probably the first or second week....so we can see the candlelight processional).
