Planning DVD Outdated

I ordered my free planning DVD and it took FOREVER to get here, but it came in the mail today. My husband built a fire in the fireplace, I got a glass of wine and we settled down to see what's new since the last time we were in the World.

I was a little disappointed to see a section on Downtown Disney, and rather surprised they were promoting the Richard Petty Driving Experience.

It's quite possible you received the 2015 planning dvd, which would have been made before the name change and before the RPDE closed. I believe there's usually an overlap at the end of the previous year/beginning of the current year before the current year DVDs are sent out.

Do they update them every year? We ordered one last year and received the same one from at least two years before.

I am pretty sure I ordered DVDs in 2013, 2014 and 2015 and they were all different....I could be mis-remembering the 2014 year, but I know 2013 and 2015 were entirely different.

AFAIK, there's no limit. I know I ordered 2 last year (lost the first one)

Great! I'll try again in a month! Hopefully it'll come before our trip in April.

If you really want up-to-date information, a DVD presentation will be far less current than internet listings.
