Planning dec '08 WL pkg, discount questions, HELP!!!!

We would like to do a pkg at WL next Dec. Did anyone recieve discounts on pkgs.? I did a quote on Disney's site and got a quote of $5900 for 8 nights, courtyard view, 9 days PH, and deluxe dining for 2 A, A chldren, and 1 infant. Would love to have that number below $5000, is that possible with a pkg discount?

There have been discounts over the last couple of years, ending just before holiday season. They are generally released in August and there are limited rooms available. If you want a discount over the holidays you are generally out of luck.

You could take a chance for the discount and either wait until next August for a code OR go ahead and book your trip (don't do your airfare as part of ressie) then in August IF codes are released you could call and apply the code to your existing ressie. If they can not make the change under the code at least you have your original ressie.

Thanks!! We would checkout b4 the official holiday season. We would arrive and depart during value and we drive from Ga. We Love the Wl during the holidays we haven't stayed there in years. We're really looking forward to a stay at the lodge.
