Planning another magical 5th birthday

Thanks for the close up pics! Those are just incredible shoes!!

Yay homemade pizza! We usually make some every two weeks but its gluten free :crazy2:(No allergy just trying to keep a no/low gluten diet). Yours looks super yummy!!

I had taken a peek at Garden Grocer as well but because we are cabbing between MCO/Universal/Disney we can throw in a grocery stop. BUT I had considered the same think, just packing dry goods and picking up milk at the resort. I would think you could pack the drinks in your checked baggage. i would triple bag them just to make sure they don't leak or burst. I think your airline should have a list of what you can't have in checked baggage though so you can double check.

Great movie night! Sometimes simple is the best! :thumbsup2

We were going to do a grocery delivery last trip and I decided against it also. We ended up using our refillable mugs for drinks (hot chocolate or lemonade in the morning for the kids--they had plenty of milk at other meals) and I also brought pop tarts and granola bars. I also found that most mornings the girls were so excited, they really didn't want breakfast right away.

For water.....some people don't like the taste of the water there. I don't remember it tasting horrible. I usually just got ice from the ice machine the night before and let it melt in my big water bottle overnight, added some more ice in the morning and was good for most the morning. Also, you can ask for water for free at the snack carts and I also would usually just get water to drink at meals and refill my water bottle then too. I'm not sure if refilling my water bottle at the table was appropriate, but I figured it was just water which they give for free anyway, so I didn't feel too bad about it. I know some people have had water delivered from amazon. We haven't but I think it's cheaper and should be there waiting for you when you check in.

I brought pop tarts and granola bars also last time and that was sufficient for us. For drinks we just refilled our mugs in the am. One thing though, if you eat at your resort at all, you can just refill your mug for your drink, but then you're still entitled to a drink on the dining plan so you can grab a Gatorade or milk or whatever and save it for the next morning.

We considered doing a grocery order this time too but we only have 4-5 mornings and I looked at the prices for breakfast at POP and it's pretty cheap. So this time well just eat down there.

They also have the individual pieces of fruit and such to buy and I think in your resort store you can buy like a gallon of milk or something.

I love homemade pizza. It is so yummy but I don't make it too often. We use to do it once every week or every other week so I think I might get back into that schedule. It's pretty cheap and easy to make.
Thanks for the tips.

That's a great idea. (the ice) I didn't even think about that. I wasn't sure if the water was good to drink or not so if it's just the taste than that clears that up. I think we would be fine bringing along our reusable water bottles then. I didn't remember them having lemonade as an option- just soda and hot chocolate so that is good to know. That would be a fun drink to have in the am.
Thanks for all the info.

I hadn't even thought of pop tarts. That would be easy and since we never have them the girls would think that was a treat! They would probably love it!
That is a really good idea of getting milk with our meal when we eat at Pop. I think we will definitely use all these tips!

Sounds like such a fun day at MK! I'm sure Maddy will have an amazing bday!

Your shoes came out beautiful!

Love the minnie dress, what a great find.

On a recent trip, my friend packed bottled water in her checked luggage and didn't have a problem. So I think you would be ok packing yoohoos or juice boxes.

the shoes look fantastic! and what a cute find the dress is! Your plans look great, our days are busy too - hopefully you make it to everything!

I think she will. It is fun to be there on a special occasion! Thank you! I really like the shoes.
That's good to know about the drinks. Thanks!

I know a lot of you are going in October. I saw these at Walmart this morning:

Really cute mickey themed halloween window clings. Only a few dollars.

MAN! That is EXACTLY what I have been looking for, but I was wondering, will those stick to the window from either side? Because you would want to hang them from the inside, but then seems like they would be backwards to passers-by, unless both sides will stick? Eh, anyway, my Walmart didn't have those but they did have some cute hanger things that featured Mickey and the gang and they came with suction cups! So I guess those will work!

I didn't even think of that. Good point. Last time we had magnets on the outside of our door and they were stolen. So you would want it on the inside for that and other reasons.

Haha. Just my very in depth musings on window clings....

Someone stole something off your door at DISNEY?!? That is not very magical..... :(

Yep. We had a bunch of disney magnets on our room door to help Abi remember which room was ours and one day we came back and they were all gone.

I was going to do another touring plan but I decided to hold off because today is my
FASTPASS+ day. :scared::woohoo:
Well, technically tonight at 10pm my time.
I am really excited to finally be able to do them. But I am also really nervous. I shouldn't watch the facebook group for November because everyone keeps posting how they didn't get A&E or couldn't until such and such a day.
I am hoping to get them for our 7th day but someone from last night said there wasn't any availibility until the 19th or something so I might have to just go to our very last day. I was hoping to get it for when my parents are with us but.... I don't know if I will be able to.
I will update tonight after I am done or tomorrow AM. I can't believe it is already here!

Ahh so exciting! I hope you get everything you want, and fingers especially crossed for A&E! pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust: Can't wait to hear the results.

WOO HOO!! FP+ is over and I am very happy!:cool1::cool1::cool1:
I, unfortunately was not able to get Anna and Elsa while my parents were there but I did get a perfect time for the day after they leave. So, I'll take it!
I was able to get every single fast pass I had on my list (some on different days than I wanted obviously but all on days that would work) except for Big Thunder Mtn Railroad. But I am pretty sure that on the day I wanted that if we head straight to it first thing we will be fine.
I'll update more in the morning!
