Planning another magical 5th birthday

I want to start getting my touring plans on here.
First I will revisit Day one.
I still am not sure exactly how we are going to work my parents having our van but one way or another they will have it and drive up to our house early Tuesday morning of day one. This way we only have to park one car at the airport and they don't have to leave their car at our house. (We don't have a garage)
I am hoping to have them arrive by about 6:30am. This means they will have to leave their house by about 5:45am but they are early risers so it should be okay. I will also be getting up around 5 to get myself ready and make sure everything is done and ready for their arrival and the girls wake up.
I will have all of our bags packed except any last minute stuff. I will put it all by the front door the night before so we are ready to go.
I will also do most of the reveal set up the night before.
Our kitchen table is right next to the door to the girls' room so I will be setting up our reveal in the art/ school area in case one of them comes out of their room in the middle of the night. It is around a corner so they wouldn't see it right away.
On the table I will set up paper plates (ready for the donut Mickey heads in the AM), Abi's Sofia luggage packed with things to do on the plane, Maddy's Minne backpack packed with things to do on the plane, The Anna and Elsa dolls, some Tsum Tsums we just got, some little play packs we got, and as many of the girls' Disney toys as I can steal out of their room without their noticing. I want it to look really fun at the table with all of their toys/ stuffed animals.
I will also set out the shirts I will make that say we are going to Disney.
I plan on going to the party store to get some red and black and possibly white balloons to have set up at the table as well.
I am hoping the girls will sleep in until about 7-730. They have never slept in very late but the past few weeks they have been sleeping in until about then. So, as soon as they come out we will hopefully all be ready for them.
We will have the camera and video camera ready.
Then I think we will have my parents kind of hidden over in the art area too and they will go around the corner and see them and the table and hopefully a lot of celebrating will happen!
Our flight leaves at 10am so we will have to leave our house by about 8am at the latest so we will all hurry and eat our breakfast (unless it takes longer to celebrate in which case we can eat on the way).
Our flight arrives at 4:22.
We will Magic Express our way to POP!
We will get settled into our rooms. Hopefully 70's section, ground floor, connected rooms.
By about 7- 730 I am hoping we will all feel rested and ready to have some fun.
We will catch a bus over to Downtown Disney.
Our reservations at T-Rex are at 830. So we can shop/ browse until then and then have dinner and do Build A Dino.
After that we will head back to our rooms and go right to sleep as we will be getting up early the next day to make rope drop at HS!

Oh, the plans for your first day and surprising the kids sound so awesome!! What a great memory for them and such a fantastic surprise! I'll keep my fingers crossed they sleep in that late. If they're like our girls, they'll be up at the crack of dawn just because you want them to sleep in a little! :rotfl:

Yeah, their totally going to freak out when they see all that stuff! They might still think they are dreaming! Seriously though its going to be the second best morning ever!! (After the next morning when they actually get to wake up up in Disney World!)

Thanks! Exactly. It will be 4am wake ups just because! :rotfl:

Yeah. I think it will feel a bit like waking up on Christmas morning!

Well, I used this long weekend to finally get one of my projects done and crossed off on my disney to do list.
I finished what I am calling the Small World skirts. These will be worn on one of our Epcot days and possibly 'Ohana.

Thanks! I love ruffles too. I saw the skirt a while back and have been searching for a pattern for it since then. I finally found the exact pattern on You can make this. I was so excited. It was a time consuming pattern but I love it so much I want to make a bunch more in different styles. :goodvibes I Love the Small World fabric. I actually bought it a few years ago on Etsy because I knew I would want to use it someday. So excited it is finally turned into something.

Skirts are soooo cute! I love them!

Thank you!! I am really happy with how they turned out.

We started out the weekend with a trip to the movie theater to see Maleficent. We loved it.
Then we ended the weekend watching Sleeping Beauty at home.
It was interesting to watch the cartoon after seeing Maleficent. Abi and Maddy kept pointing out the things they "got wrong" in the cartoon. :rotfl:
For our Sleeping Beauty night we had breakfast for dinner. I made pancakes, eggs, and bacon. We also had strawberries and a pink and blue cake. I tried to make it a little wobbly and messy like the one in the movie but only two tiers. And everything was pink and blue. It was a really fun (and yummy) night.

Your movie nights are always so cute! Love the blue and pink cake! I loved maleficent too! It was the second feature the night we went to the drive in. The kids and DH feel asleep so I actually got to watch it uninterrupted! I liked it so much I preordered it!

Thank you! It really is SO good. I was teary eyed so many times in that show. Where did you pre-order it?

I love the pink and blue cake idea - might steal that!

Thanks!

Oh! I loved Maleficent! I thought it was much better than the cartoon version!
