Okay wondering if I am the only crazy person planning a 2012 trip! We went in January and will be doing some point banking to have a big extended family trip in 2012!

When we plan a big family reunion or a cruise, we plan 2 years ahead!

I am at three years! My kids will be three years older (there are four of them!) and I am looking at menus! I am a crazy person!

Wow, you do plan ahead, don't you?! There's nothing wrong with that! I think you'll find some of the most obsessive planners here on the DIS. Where are you planning on staying?

How do you plan so far ahead? I am always in the mode of going, but can only book 7-11 months in advance. Happy Planning!

I'm not too bad. We've been planning for september 2010 but now are considering moving it to may 2011. I'm still checking things out anyway. I tell my family planning these trips is what keeps me sane.

Wow - we must be really crazy then. We have not only talked through our vacation plans until 2012, but also have a contingency plan for each year, just in case we either change our minds about accomodation, or our choices are not available. We plan to stay at certain resorts, but if it is not available, choosing somewhere else will have a knock on effect with points over the subsequent stays. Therefore we know what our choices will be with regard to how many more or less points we have to use for the years following a change of plan. And if one of my older children want to come and we need the points for another studio, well, it's all there - where we will stay if they come, and if they don't, for the next 3 years. I know.............I need help!!!!

Wow! Now I lovvve to plan, it is a real sickness for me, but you have definitely got me beat! We have things planned through September of next year right now. Now I just have to wait for those 7 month windows to open up...

I love to plan stuff : )....I think I actually might become a travel agent so I can plan other people's trips!

It is a big deal, this trip in 2012, as it will be my niece's first trip and I can't wait to show it to them. I probalby focusing too as I am not doing anything vacation wise, at least through DVC, until then!

There will be 10 of us and I think we are going to get a GV at OKW, that is where I own. Of course I am buying more points between now and then so who knows!
