In the beginning stage of planning my spring 2026 trip - attended DAH at Magic Kingdom in 2024 and 2025, and definitely want to do it again next year. It's become one of my favorite things to do at Disney and has definitely become my preferred way to do the Magic Kindgom. My dates for spring 2026 are flexible, but I'm looking at late April/early May for that sweet spot after spring break is over and before Memorial Day weekend kicks off summer break. I know it's likely that Disney will offer DAH @ MK dates next spring again, but they haven't been released yet.

So here is the question: I really want to do the DAH and am willing to plan my trip around when it's available. Is it better to hold of on making my resort reservation (looking at Boardwalk) until the dates are announced, or should I make a reservation for my ballpark dates so that I have something on the books and then adjust it if need be?
