We're planning on going back to WDW from August 18th to Sept 2nd, 2018. Myself, son(18), son's GF(19) and twin daughters (15). Me and 4 teenagers ... I know.
I have 4 options:
Option 1: Use our DVC for a 2 BDR at AKL or Old Key West, and pay cash for food. Total budget $6000
Option 2: Rent our DVC points and get a cabin at FW, pay cash for food. Total Budget $2500
Option 3: Rent our DVC points, pay rack rate for cabin, QS free dining. Total Budget $2500
Option 4: Rent our DVC points, pay rack rate for cabin, TS free dining. Total Budget $5000
The paying cash for food option would be going to cheaper TS meals every other night for dinner, QS lunches plus the occasional snack. This is also assuming "free" dining occurs at the same time in 2018 with the same deals.
