Planing new trip!

Hi,

We just found out that we are going to DW in early December . Is anyone aware of any special rates (Gov, Law enforcement, etc.) for the Swan or Dolphin during this time. Thanks for the great reading and updates,

woohoo!! you will love wdw in early december. be sure to plan for the candlelight processional at world showcase and osbourne lights at mgm. we will be there the same time. happy planning!

Also early December is value season, so the rates will be down, regardless. We went in 2000 the 2nd week of December, and stayed in the WL. It was beautifully decorated! The best resorts for the decorations are GF, WL, Boardwalk and Yacht and Beach Club.

Lucky you! We went to WDW last year around the same time you are going this year, and we stayed at the Swan. We did take advantage of their government rate, which was $129/night but has since increased. We also became Starwood members, and enjoyed a complimentary upgrade at checkin. We had a wonderful vacation and enjoyed the Swan, but probably will not stay there again (only because there are so many other places we want to try/stay). Early Dec is our favorite time to experience WDW, and you should be able to find some great discounted rooms, via codes (check out www.mousesavers.com), for this time of year, although codes for this period will not be released until probably fall. You very well may be able to get a disney moderate resort in the $84-$99/night range or WL (awesome resort...especially at holiday time!)) or AKL in the $129-$139/night range. I personally would choose AKL/WL over the Swan or Dolphin if I could get them at rates comparable to Swan/Dolphin. If you go with the Swan/Dolphin you absolutely will love the location and the amenities. You will find great information on these boards, to help with your trip planning. Have fun!
