Planing Feb Super Bowl trip

This might be a really dumb questions - especially from a Patriots-area resident - when is the superbowl? Im in WDW Feb 1 to Feb 8 - does the game have any impact on crowds that day?

The super bowl is Feb 2. I don't think it really impacts crowds. The National Dance Team championship is that weekend, and that might clog up some resorts with dancers....

But I don't have any suggestions as to where one should watch the game.

We've watched games at the Poly bar in the past. ESPN at BW is another option but for the Super Bowl it may be package entry only. ( Meaning you'll have to purchase a package to enter ). There was a small TV at YC also at the Ale and Compass bar.

Similar question...Coming down during the weekend prior and wondering if there's any impact from being there during the Pro Bowl? Sure, nobody really cares about the game, but don't know if there's anything going on around the parks/hotels since the game is in the area.

I was there during the Pro Bowl last year. There was no impact on crowds although I did hear that there were some players who visited the parks before and after the game.

We will be at Disney for the Super Bowl in February and while I won’t be watching, my husband and brother-in-law will definitely be. On this last trip, I stopped by ESPN Club to ask about the Super Bowl package. It is $100 per person to get a table. That $100 is then applied to you food/drink bill. However, you don’t get any $ back if you don’t spend it all.

ETA: I’m sure it will be playing at Splittsville at Disney Springs as they show the regular season games. I’m sure it will also be on in the various hotel lounges.
