Planet Holywood?

Hello, I was looking at the menu for Planet Hollywood, and it looks like it has lots of great choices (and a welcome break from the standard Disney kids meals for our DD5).

I have not been able to find many positive reviews though, or even any recent ones .

If anyone has been lately, I would love to hear some opinions! We are looking at maybe an early lunch?

We've eaten at Planet Hollywood many times (with the last time being in August) and we've enjoyed it each and every time. The lasagna is extremely good and is huge (enough for two people). We also like the burgers. Large and juicy.

I would definitely recommend Planet Hollywood.

We went last year and it was very good! They have great burgers and desserts. They are a little pricey and always crowded in the evening, even if DTD isn't...
Keep in mind that they don't honor the DDP, but you can get a free $15 coupon to use there when you book a package through AAA.

i like the atmosphere more than the food. the food i found to be mediocore and a bit pricey.

I thought I saw them listed on this years dining plan? Either way, it will be an OOP lunch for us.

If you had to choose between T-rex and Planet Hollywood which would you prefer based on the food quality?

They do honor the dining plan. I just ate there using DDP credits in November. Food was very good, but the service was a little slow and the place was very noisy.

I haven't eaten at PH for a while are the portions still huge?

We have always enjoyed eating here. I have had the ribs many times and they have always been good.

I went to PH in 1995..we got there around 4:30 or so.. waited outside for 80 minutes but had a very entertaining line entertainer. Turned out he was from close to where I live. Got inside and waited another 30 minutes in the bar area. And where do we sit? Right over where we'd been standing!!! Ugh..but I did get to walk around and take pictures.

I do remember the food to a certain degree--weird how you remember that after 14 years But anyways...If we go back we'll go earlier in the day. Of course back then I wasn't very knowledgable about Disney

You went back in the glory days of PH. The company has since gone bankrupt, downsizes and closed many locations. They tried to grow far too fast. Sad as they had a great concept and good food. Higher prices are to be expected.

Ah...thanks!! I wasn't impressed with the food (and yes I do remember it) but the atmosphere was pretty cool. I'd rather go to T-Rex or Raglan Road!!

We loved it our last trip and it's a must do for next time. The kids really loved it and had great kids' meals!
