hey, DISers! just a few questions for you know-it-alls!

my friend and i are doing a quickie trip to disney in september. i just realized that i have a leftover $15 voucher for planet hollywood from my may trip that doesn't expire until january, so we're thinking we might swing by planet hollywood on our way in the night we get there (not arriving until late on a friday night) and have some appetizers and a drink. i just have a few questions since i've never been to planet hollywood.......

1. we probably won't get there until like 11:00 p.m. at the earliest. the restaurant is open until 1:00 a.m. so that won't be a problem. my question is do you guys think i need reservations for that late of a dinner time? i realize this will be during free dining, but planet hollywood is not on the DDP. but i also realize it's a friday night. just wanted to get some opinions.

2. we will be wearing "travel clothes" since we're driving...most likely shorts and t-shirts. is that okay? i don't think this is a dressy establishment, but i didn't want to feel out of place.

3. parking.......where's the best place? i've been to DTD disney before, but only from a disney bus. so i've never had to park there. any tips would be appreciated!

4. planet hollywood is on the west side, right? so admission to PI is not required??? (i hope!)

THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!!!!

Planet Hollywood always seems to be busy. We tend to go around 8pm, and usually there is at least an hour wait. They take reservations after 10pm, and if you def want to eat there without much of a wait; an ADR would be useful.

You won't be out of place- Disney isn't known for dressiness at dinner.

No idea sorry, we always use Disney transport

Yep, admission to PI isn't required

Hope you have a good dinner!

1. Probably it won't be busy at that time of night but you never know. PH is on the DDP, by the way.

2. Not dressy attire at all for PH - you'll be fine in anything you'd wear to the parks.

3. Not exactly sure but I'd just try and get in front of it and then find a parking space as close as possible. We have also walked back and forth from the Marketplace area and it's a nice walk (especially after dinner to walk off the meal).

4. It is not inside Pleasure Island but I'm not sure if that's west side. I get my DTD areas confused, sorry.
