Planet Hollywood reservations...are you seated at your time?

I have never bothered with Planet Hollywood...never use the vouchers, but do they tend to set you near your reservation time? I have always read about long waits and how loud it is, but I don't know if the wait was with or without reservations.

Please share your experiences!

Hey there MommyCrawford!

Planet HollyWood is much like any other restaurant ... they are pretty good at seating you within 10 or 15 mins of your reservation, however, there is always the chance that they will get backed up and you may wait longer ... just depends on crowds and how long it takes other people to eat and get out.

Now, you said you never use the vouchers ... if you're getting it for free or for a discount OR if it has something to do with the Dining Plan then I'd say try it. On the other hand, if you are paying for it out of pocket I'd say skip it and walk over to either RainForest or T-Rex in DownTown Disney. All three are basically glorified burger joints but of the three I just don't think Planet HollyWood has enough atmosphere to balance out the price you're paying.

Usually the place has plenty of open seats. Walk through and take a look but eat elsewhere.

I really appreciate you posting! I always get a plan and that free $15 voucher...shakes and a cheesesteak to split, maybe at the bar, I figure.

We went back in Feb 2008 and had to wait like 20 minutes even though we had a reservation. It was ok...not bad not great.
