A CM told me that PH does not take ADR's. Does anyone know (approx.) how long the wait is for dinner? (going 1st part of April) Thanks!!!!

Ir probably depends on what time of day you go...and what time of year. We went last September and went for a late dinner and the wait was about 20 minutes. It is a very large restaurant so it holds quite a few people. I imagine if you go during peak meal times that the wait is longer, however.

The longest we have ever waited for a table was 45 minutes. It was during a thunderstorm and EVERYBODY was taking cover and decided to eat at the same time. We eat there every time we go to WDW and the usual wait was about 20 minutes.

Try eating your dinner a little earlier than normal and you'll probably get in pretty quickly.

They do take reservations at Planet Hollywood. I would call back and speak to another CM. They also take the dining plan if you are using it.:)

they do take reservations i made one a few days ago call back like the previous poster stated;)

I have made ADRs for Planet Hollywood before. In fact, I had one on our last trip in December. All have been for dinner.

I called in December to make dinner reservations for May and the csr seemed confused that she couldn't take the reservation. She gave me the direct phone number and they would not take it either.

:thumbsup2

YES they do. I have one for March at supper time for us the day we arrive in WDW.

They do take reservations but for some reason there is total confusion about the fact that they do, go figure?!? If you have AAA stop by their office and they will give you a voucher that is good for the first table available for your size, plus it offers 20% off your purchase.

Yeah, they do accept reservations. I made them for dinner last summer (I was told it was recommended) & I made them again for 5:45 this July. Maybe try calling back to make them again. I know Rainforest doesn't take them so maybe the CM confused it w/ that? :)

I have ADR's for 8 for 12noon on a Saturday in May. I probably didn't need them, but made them just in case. I was able to make them exactly 180 days in advance. BTW, since PH isn't Disney owned, they won't let you make them 180 + 10 like they do with Disney ones. It must be 180 or less.

PS- I made them thru the Disney Dining phone number.

ok.......I just called again-the CM told me that they do take reservations, asked if I was on the dining plan & asked how many was in my party.....then said "ok, for that particular day & time (April 5th--for dinner) they are taking walk-ups only"..so, I guess you can make them...but sometimes you can't:confused3 --that's fine, I just didn' want to wait an hour for dinner! thanks for the responses!!

I am glad to know that they do take dinner reservations. For several years now, they have told me that they don't take them.

Gosh, sounds like everyone has a different answer! :confused3 I was told that PH isn't taking reservations only for the summer (I guess because it's the busiest time?)

Anyway, I googled VIP seating, and bought some food vouchers from undercovertourist.com, that is $10 off food purchase (coupon cost $10), which isn't any big bargain, but it specifies you get FIRST AVAILABLE SEATING. I'm going in July with my DBF, so this will help a lot with waiting.

They do take ADR's. Have one for dinner,Wednesday, April 30th at 6:30pm. Only going because we received two $15. vouchers with our package.

Just curious...how did you get 2 vouchers with your package? We're only getting one.

I just got off the phone from making my ressie's and they told me that during summer months, no ADR's for there - walk-up only!! I don't mind though - I know there there's lot of time to kill at DTD anyways!!
