Do you need ADRs for PH? I have a $15 voucher from AAA and on it, it states we get VIP seating. What exactly is VIP seating? We would eat lunch at 11am, right when it opens.

You most definitely should have an adr for any table service meal in wdw these days, but that being said, we had one of those vouchers last trip and a reservation for Phwood. The first time we used the ADR it took about 30 minutes for them to seat us, we like it so we went back and gave them the voucher and we were seated right away with no waiting.

So I take it, as long as I have the voucher I shouldnt need an ADR?

there is a reason they are bribing you with $15 to eat there, the food and the service are awful.

we tried to book an ADR there and was told by our DreamsUnlimited agent that we PH doesn't take ADR's at all?

They do take ADR's. We really like it, however the tables are really close and it is sort of loud, but I guess everyone's different. I like that they have such a large menu with plenty of choices. I have enjoyed all the entrees there except once we had the fajitas and we didn't really care for them.

You can use the voucher as your ADR.

I was told the same thing. I even tried calling back after everyone kept saying they had ADR's for there. I wonder why some can get ADR's and others can't?

Have you tried calling disney dining and getting an ADR? Of all people, they should no. I run the ADR thread and people have been posting their ADR times, so you must be able to make 1.

Im really confused, I dont know weither or not we should make 1. :confused3 I really didnt wanna have to because we are eating there as soon as we check in into our resort and get to DTD. So I really cant say what time we will be there by. We should be at the resort by 8:30am, but after that, depends how long checkin takes, weither or not our room is ready (if its ready then we will have to lug our luggage to our room), then grab a bus and then get down to DTD. I figured that since we have those vouchers and gives us VIP seating we shouldnt have to make an ADR. :confused3 Just like with RFC, I've been told that since Im a safari club member, I dont have to make an ADR because I get priority seating.

EDIT TO ADD: I just looked up PH website and all it says for reservations is
RESERVATIONS:
For group reservations of 15 or more, please contact our Sales Office at 407-827-7836.

We ate at the one in the Inner Harbor, MD, a long time ago, and it was pretty good. They also gave us a merchandise voucher as well to get a keepsake from PH. Not sure what the keepsake item is.

I tried to make an ADR there for the end of August through Disney Dining. They said that Planet Hollywood does not take ADRs unless the date I wanted was in September. I have no idea why. I would think their busy time would be the summer??

Thanks for posting this.. beginning to think that i MISUNDERSTOOD our TA.
Wonder if they only take so many reservations for DDP (limited number) and others that are not on the DP can get in.

Anyone know if there is a limit?

Can you even use the DDP at PH? I didnt think you could? If you cant, then that wouldnt make any sense.

I did an ADR for PH for our trip last week, and I'm sooo glad I did. I would've prefered eating somewhere else but majority ruled. The wait time was 60 minutes and we went at 5:35 for an early dinner! Unless you like to wait, I would suggest one. The food is decent (actually, I love the BBQ burger), but be prepared for busy and noisy!
