What is inside Planet Earth, golf ball, in Epcot? I've never gone inside, and we are going back to WDW in March. Is it worth a look?

Yes, there is something inside Spaceship Earth -- a dark ride! It's about communication throughout the ages, and it's been updated in a fun way. It's definitely worth your time, plus it's very relaxing.

Spaceship earth is like the great movie ride but instead it tells you of how communications has evolved. Its a great ride.

They have installed screens so you take a photo and then use the touch screens to create your ideal place. When you come out the ride there are lots of interactive games like Innoventions which are worth doing.

I love Spaceship Earth, but I do have one suggestion...as the park opens and over the first few hours, Spaceship Earth is the first thing people see, so the line will be huge - if it's not, hop on - but if it is, just move on to something else and come back in the afternoon, the line is sure to be much shorter.

I agree with PP's, it is a fantastic, slow, cool dark ride through the history of communication with some cool effects. It is a great ride to go on in the late morning, or early afternoon. Typically the line is pretty long first thing in the morning when everyone comes into the park. I use that time to hit up the E ticket, and then other attractions on one side of Future World, then head for Space Ship Earth toward the end of the morning, before going into the World Showcase.

It's definitely worth doing but as the other posters said, wait until afternoon or evening. It will be a walkon then, mornings the line can be VERY long.

Such a great ride! I love to relax for a few minutes, and it's so interesting! Even better since they renovated it a little.

the ride inside is called spaceship earth its a dark ride and its about diffrent types of commintaction and its really intrasting also the line goes really fast and some times none or little at all cuz the ride is on going so yes there is a ride inside the golf ball

We LOVE Spaceship Earth -- one of my DD's FAVORITE rides at Epcot! Please give it a go on your next trip, and as others have said, if there's a line, try again later. There's no need to wait long to get on.

While in the park, last April 1, my friends kids had just ridden this. They told their mom it was an interactive water ride and she would need her poncho and hat. She rode the whole thing that way, waiting for the water drop.
