We'll be driving from SE Michigan next year to WDW for the first time. :drive: One of the first things I did was check mileage/hours on the road through MapQuest. I'm not sure if I missed something on MapQuest, but is something out there available (Mapquest or another site) to choose a different route from the one suggested by the site?

I'm aware that you're able to choose shortest time, distance, etc. MapQuest's directions gave only the route using 75, and we're seriously considering 77.:confused3

Was that clear enough? I've been spending way too much time in front of the computer! :surfweb:

Try the AAA website. I'm not sure if you have to be a member (but it's probably a good idea if you are taking a long road trip). You can create your own trip routing on their site.:thumbsup2

On the far right of the mapquest page, where the direstions are listed, there is a clickable "avoid" for each part of the directions. So when you get to the first "take exit ... to Rte 75...." if you click the "avoid" I believe it should re-route you. Good luck.

That was exactly the kind of information I was looking for! Thanks a bunch! :hippie: true
