Plan our Universal trip for us

DH and I are considering a Universal trip for Nov 1-4. I am great at planning our disney trips but am clueless on Universal. So can you plan our trip for us? It will just be DH and I. We like to know if this was your trip where would you have breakfast, lunch and dinner? We like being there at rope drop. What rides you would do first at each park and what direction you would go from each ride? We haven't been to Universal since our senior trip in 1999 and that was only the original park. We haven't ever been to IOA. We are driving down so we will have a car. We plan on staying at the double tree across the street. We plan on having a two day single park ticket.

You'll probably get better responses if you ask individual questions instead of wanting someone to plan your trip for you.

I suggest you read through this forum and gain as much knowledge as possible. Then come back and ask specific questions. There are many, many threads about meals, ride order, etc. You just need to read a bit.

If you plan on eating breakfast, lunch and dinner on property, here are my suggestions:

On the day you go US, breakfast @ Boulangerie, lunch @ Finnegan's.

On the day you go to IOA, breakfast @ Croissant Moon Bakery, lunch at either Mythos or the new Harry Potter restaurant.

For dinner, I suggest eating at Citywalk both nights. There are good restaurants @ Citywalk and you'll get a lot of good suggestions. My suggestion: One night, Margaritaville. The other night, Hard Rock Cafe.
