Plan Ahead with Lightning Lane Entry at Walt Disney World Starting July 24

Ahh @babydoll65 will be in the US in an offsite stay for their initial purchase window.

No you don't have to be in the US to make your LLMP / LLSP selections and purchases. Did you miss the discussion earlier in the thread concerning a workaround as discussed by @andrewilley from the UK?

Dave
I'm actually a US resident 🤣 I just buy the 14 day UK ticket when I'm doing longer trips.

I never even considered that the 14 day ticket was an option for non-UK people.
If purchasing from a third party seller in the UK (similar to Undercover Tourist) its allowed (even by Disney in the US) You cannot purchase these type of tickets or any promos that are offered through Disney UK (those are for UK/Ireland residents only)

I have another senario: I have the UK 14 day ticket with the first portion of my split stay offsite. I know I will not be able to start booking till three days before the start date of my ticket and I think that your allowed to book up to 14 days but what if I wanted to not go to the parks a couple of days for some down time. My park tickets are good for 18 days so am I only allowed to book 14 days worth on the start of my ticket date? Or any 14 days within my 18 day expiration? Hope this makes sense 🤣
It should be for the length of ticket within the ticket's use window. So yes, you should be able to book non-consecutive days. That said, I believe you can only book for 14 days. I don't know if that limit is based on the dates Disney makes available, or if it is based strictly on the start of the use window on the ticket.

For example: If your use date starts on September 1, you should be able to book any 14 days from September 1 through September 19. If the 14-day limit is based on the start of your ticket's use dates, you would only be able to book through September 15. If the 14-day limit is based on what Disney makes available, you should be able to book through September 19th. Make sense?

Just saw someone post in a fb lightning lane group that she tried to book a one night stay at a value resort with 7 day tickets thinking she would be able to book the full length of her ticket and it was a "No Go" 🤣 she was only allowed to book her check in and checkout days only. Guess Disney closed that loophole 👍
Did they intend to keep the reservation and just not show up?

No Disney did not close any loophole since there was not one. Here is the relevant quote: starting 7 days before the first day of their Resort stay, for their length of stay (up to 14 days).

We have a trip coming up in October. We are six adults and booked at Bonnet Creek for the trip. I was relatively confident with this decision and had planned on using Genie+ and Lightening Lane. We all know how that’s no longer an option.

I want to start researching now and decide what my best plan of attack is now that things have changed. Is there a specific thread for offsite guests ? Or maybe a plan out there somewhere? I realize it’s early days but I’m starting to worry this trip is now nothing but massive lines. Moving on-site would be thousands more for our group and is not possible. Just trying to make the best of it now.

Sounds like it since she stated she was staying off-site the entire trip.
The cost of going from a 7-day to a 10-day ticket is about 50 bucks for some tickets this month. Depending on her party size, by doing this and putting the days she intends to go at the end of the 14-day validity window she could accomplish what she wants for less money than a throwaway room and even trump resort guests by a few days.

Wondering if any AP has been able to choose their second park of the day for LLMP? Last I read in this forum, it was unknown. For example: AP has park reservation for AK but just wants to do a couple of things and then hop to HS. So they want to buy LLMP for HS. Do we know yet if this can be done? I’m assuming AP has to scan in at AK per regular AP hopping rules.

Yes there have been a few reports. Yes it can be done. Just remember that before you enter AK you will need to have a Park reservation unless Disney has marked it a "Good to Go" day.

No impact to making your advanced selections but you need the reservation to enter AK in your example.

LLMP doesn't have anything to do with park reservations. If you have an AP and want to book LLMP for a second park for the day, you certainly can based on AP hopping rules.

I have an AP. I was already in DHS and had to tap into my first ride at DHS before I could make a LL at MK and I only had two selections so had one available.
So if you have no LL for AK, you should be able to book the LL for HS.

Select the earliest start date for your tickets that allows the validity window to cover all your park days. You can book 3 days before that selected start day.

For those who have day-of experience, is it easier to slide things around on the day of? We’re a hot mess over here, with misaligned plans left and right, and I’m trying to decide how much I should stress about straightening things out.

Yes but there is limited time and attraction availability to make adjustments. You really need to be done with your major popular attractions adjustments before 7 AM on "day of park" visit. Day of high value attractions do pop up through out the day but they don't hang around long.

ETA: add missing word of and quotes...
