Plan Ahead with Lightning Lane Entry at Walt Disney World Starting July 24

Booked LLMP already, and 3 out of our 4 LLSP. I should've booked the 4th, but I was worried about timing with park hopping so I delayed. Now all of the GOTG LLSP are gone. So my question is, does anyone know if LLSP ever get slots again after it is gone? Any chance slots will open on day of?
It's possible but I have never seen it day of after 7 AM in the park. However keep checking each day and even on your actual "Day of" park visit before 7 AM.

We are staying off-site next week (shorter trip), and I started playing around today with it.........and noticed that everything was late afternoon/evening. I was HOPING to get my 3 rides in the morning--and then park hop in the later afternoon/evening--but from looks of it, not sure that is going to be possible?
Since you are trying before your 3 day pre-purchase window, you will only see return times after 2 PM unless you have a park reservation for AP or non Dated tickets when testing. What type of tickets are you using for next week?

AP

OK in your practice testing did you make a park reservation? And it is a very busy week due "Jersey" week. New Jersey schools are out Mon - Fri.

I would try your HS testing again and make a park reservation to see if only ToT shows available. Also you still get a chance since available LLMP and/or selections may have be added when you make your actual LLMP purchase or skip if the times don't work for you.

Also just a reminder that you will need to make your LLMP and/ or purchases 1 per day and not all days 3 days in advance since you have APs.

Sorry, I am lazy and don't feel like reading 235 pages so I get the eye roll if I am asking a repetitive question.

Side Note: we can always try for 6pm VQ on Monday night, but with military salute tickets we had to pick our park and HS and AK it was with LLMP. I cannot get VQ at 7am nor 1pm as it conflicts with our schedule.
Based on the Thrill Data graph (see screenshot), it looks like LLSPs do sometimes become available during the day after the initial sellout. But to my untrained eye, it seems to be very hit or miss. I don't detect any regular drops, although I wonder what happened around 2:45 on October 29. (Source)

Edit: Mystery solved (I think). It looks like Guardians did not open until almost Noon on October 29. So, Disney apparently did not make LLSPs available to buy that day until the ride had been up and running for a few hours.

That was it!!!! I never even thought of the reservation blocking me from morning times.....THANK YOU!!!!

So, apparently you can do this with GCs, but there's an extra step.

When I put in my GCs, the continue button greyed out. Other folks stated upthread that there should have been an additional button to push to acknowledge that there was nothing being charged to the credit card, but I never saw that button.

I forgot I took a screenshot when I did mine Wed at 4am, the reason I forgot :surfweb:

Put in the gc info and then give it a few seconds and it'll adjust to the below. Click remove credit card for payment and click continue. There's just a lag you have to wait for. And you have to enter the numbers each time you purchase so I suggest having them on your clipboard so you can paste them both.

I did get morning times for every park day. Like I mentioned in my post, the offsite people in my group have 10 day park tickets which we are using over a 14 day period. Those of us staying onsite have APs with appropriate park reservations, but I booked all of us together 3 days in advance of Day 1. For that first day I couldn't get anything earlier than 11:30 AM. For the next few days I was able to schedule the first LL by 10:15. Then after that I had no problem finding the earliest times. I believe Navi River at AK was the only LLMP that I consistently could only find later in the day (3:30-4:00 range). Like I said in my post, Slinky Dog was simply a no go. We are going to try to do that during Jollywood nights.

Hi my window opens tomorrow morning at 7am and my question is should I purchase the multi passes and should my daughter purchase the single rides? Will our chances increase if we do it separately or should I just do both multi and single all in 1 transaction? Thanks!

How many days are you booking for since the more days the less risk of not getting your first choice LLSP selections. However next week is a little odd since it is a holiday weekend and Jersey (schools out 4 - 8) week overlaps which is common every year.

If possible consider using 2 different MDE accounts but don't plan on having 2 users trying to use a single MDE account. Also do you have 2 credit cards loaded in your MDE profile(s)?

Hi Thanks so much for your reply! We are booking for 11/10-11/13, my daughter has her own MDE account with her credit card linked to her account so the plan was I would book the multi in my MDE with my credit card and she would book the singles in her MDE with her credit card, does that sound like a good plan??

Yes that's a good plan.

One more suggestion, have you both tested navigating the process of selecting the LL screen, selecting the date from the Calendar, Opening the park selections toggle so you can click on the LLMP or LLSP option and scrolling down and quickly hitting "Continue" and scrolling down to select all or a subset of your travel group.

Does this make sense?

Hi Dave,

We have practiced as much as the system will allow us to.....it takes me all the way to selecting our travel party and then won't let us go any further as it says we aren't eligible to purchase until 11/2 at 7 am. We both are linked in our friends and family and can see the other person on our list, it just says "will be eligible to purchase on 11/2 @ 7 am"

Yes that is as far as you can go until tomorrow morning at 7 AM ET. I always call out the ET because think it is just 7 AM (their timezone). Good luck and please let us know how it went.

Is there any kind of two hour booking rule like their used to be, or can you only ever have 3 lightning lanes at a time? Just trying to figure out timing and stacking etc.... I hate that they keep changing the system... though I do like the early booking and modifying we seem to be able to do now.

No. The 2-hour rule is dead. You can only have three active LLMP selections at a time. Expired LLMPs don't count toward the limit of three, even if you are within the grace period and can still ride them. Multi-Experience passes (MEPs, aka anytime passes, aka experience redemptions and a few other names) also do not count toward your limit of three.

No the two hour rule is gone. It is now a rolling process where you can hold up to 3 LLMP selections at 1 time. The Genie+ 2 hour window allowed guest to stack numerous Genie+ selections while sitting around the pool or lounging in bed at the resort.

Now you have to enter a park and tap into 1 LLMP attraction to enable the process and unlock the initial Tier restrictions.
