Plain yogurt?

I know sweetened, fruit flavored yogurt is available most places, but has anyone seen plain (pref. whole milk) yogurt anywhere? We'll be staying at the POP.

My guess is it isn't, but I thought I'd ask. It's a breakfast staple at our house for my little one and I need to know if I should pick some up on the way to the hotel.

I can't confirm that there isn't, but I also prefer plain yogurt and to date, have never found any on Disney property. Sorry, not the answer you probably wanted to hear, but at least you can be prepared ... or if you find yourself pleasantly surprised, by all means, feel free to PM me the good news.

If you are able to pick some up on the way to WDW, you will save yourself more than just a few pennies though!

I wasn't able to find plain yogurt either. I wish I had ordered some from Garden Grocer.

It's the answer I anticipated, but great to have it confirmed. The Greek kind with fresh berries is sooooo much better than the goopy stuff. I've completely switched to it since having it in the house for the Kiddo. NOM.

Yes, most all the food courts have it in the refrigerators. Last year was $1.99 per pot plus tax or a snack credit on the DDP. Just be aware though that they are VERY sweet - seem to remember there was sugar and artificial sweetener in them - and the choice was Strawberry, some kind of mixed berry and peach or apricot (one of the two). Like the OP plain yogur and fruit are our breakfast staples and I discovered last time that the granola, fruit and yogurt cup/tub in the refrigerators (round about $4) at the foodcourts had plain yogurt on. It may have been slightly sweetened but not the kind that you need 2 bottles of water to clear your throat!

When we ate there last May, Askerhaus in Norway had it on the cold breakfast buffet. I'm not sure if it was whole milk, as it was just in a big bowl on the buffet not individual cartons. They also had assorted fresh berries and granola to add to it on the buffet. I am sure that it was plain yogurt, not vanilla because I tried it. I enjoyed the berries!

Other places have yogurt parfaits on their menus, but I haven't tried them.

There is a Yogurt machine that is self serve at Gasparilla's Grill & Games in the Grand Floridian. They also have the same machine at Seashore Sweets in the Boardwalk, however over there the Cast Members get it for you.

I eat yogurt every day at home, but it is always sweetened w/Nutrasweet. I think my tastebuds are too attuned to the sweet because the plain was NOT what I'm used to. (although I'm sure it is healthier without the fake sweeteners or sugar) I really enjoyed the berries, though! I LOVE fresh fruit and it is even better when someone else buys it, washes it, and cuts it all up for me. After a few days of catalaupe and grapes, fresh berries were very refreshing!
