Plain red wrapping paper for stocking stuffers

I have never thought of color-coding! Every year I go nuts trying to figure out what is what...(after I have wrapped everything a month earlier!!) Think I'll color- code everyone's gift this year!
I started using symbols once the kids got big enough to be a pain about shaking their gifts and trying to figure out what's in them. I select a picture for each family member from clip art and print several of them tag size. (I do keep a master list that tells me who is who. I'd never remember either on Christmas morning.)

The first year I tried to be tricky, I bought those little colored stickers like you might use for yard sales and everyone had a different color.

I saw some red paper at Dollar bills yesterday! I know somehow our dd's stocking has to be put on the floor because it's overflowing....... :confused3 :rotfl2:

Color-coding? But, then, what does Santa do with all the leftover pieces of his special wrapping paper? :)

Santa doesn't color code at our house. Most of DS's gifts come from Mom & Dad, then Santa only brings one biggie. For what he brings, Santa has been using the same wrapping paper for years. We have given him permission to store it in our attic, but DS doesn't know that. ;) If he happens to run out, he always seems to replace it with an identical or almost identical roll. :)

It's used the next year for Family gifts. Our girls are young enough to not figure it out.

Santa used pooh for the baby, princess for DD5 and mickey&friends for joint gifts :)

This is the first year I thought of wrapping stocking stuffers. Both my kids "know" now and they are not getting a lot of "stuff" this year, so I thought that this might be fun to have more to unwrap.

Being a Bah Hum Bug this year, I am very late at getting around to purchases most of my stuffers. So I will be out looking for the tomorrow along with the wrapping paper.

I've used the "From Santa" paper since last year. DD LOVES it. She knows exactly which presents santa brought her. I also get my other wrapping paper from there. Love the quality. Just last week I purchased my paper for next year and got some more "From Santa" paper as well...
