Is this a nice area to stop for the night with 3 small kids? We were hoping to find a nice, clean hotel with an indoor pool so the kids can be a little crazy after being in the car for so long. Just an FYI, we will be starting our trip from Paramus NJ (where my mom lives) so it should take us about 11 hours to get to Florence not including stops. Don't mind going off the beaten path a little for a good place. Thanks!

I doubt you'll find a hotel with an indoor pool in Florence.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn, it was clean and comfortable, and although i do'nt recall the price, it was probably in the $80 range, and included an extended continental breakfast.

Springfield Suites in Florence has an indoor pool. It is fairly new, close to the highway and right across the street from the mall. There are lots of eating options as well.

This is clean out door pool . we stayed tere on or trip to HHI but hit trafic all the waty down 14hr to get there. By brother left 6hr after me and got there 45 min after me. Hope you have better luck . we were going to drive to WDW in oct but just got round trip air on Cont' air for $115 = tax like $134 total. :goodvibes

thanks Harley mouse, unfortunetly flying is not an option for us. Anyway, I hope we don't hit traffic like that-I don't think I could deal very well...

:sad2:

Please wish us luck on the roads!!
