Places to eat ???

I've been checking the park hours for our Dec trip and see they close at 6 and 7 pm while we are there. So knowing that I figure we will probably eat after the park closes so that we don't waste valuable park time eating dinner.

We plan to stay on site at RPH but I'm wondering if they are any inexpensive places to eat near by. We will have 7 people and don't want to pay 20.00 per person.

We were going to use the US dining plan until we saw how early they are closing and realized we won't want to eat dinner that early.

CityWalk is open til 2. Across the street there is all kinds of stuff from Taco Bell to Mc D's. Around the corner is International Drive, loads of stuff there.

There are TONNES of places to eat on International Drive with some great value places to eat like Sizzler or Ponderosa with their buffet's. You can walk to I-Drive if you haven't got a car.

Jake's at RPR has burgers and salads and such that wont break the bank. Over at PBH there is a deli called Sal's and a pizza parlor called Splendido, great food that isn't expensive. Each hotel also has a pool cafe that offers limited menus (but very good).

CityWalk offers restaurants and express windows that you can get food that isn't a fortune. HRC has great burgers and they aren't expensive at all. NBA City does too.

Every place I can think of at the on-site hotels, Parks, and CityWalk that is a restaurant offer kids meals at very reasonable prices.

I would do the 2 park/citywalk meal deal if it's available for your dates. That way you could eat all you wanted in the park, and then go citywalk for dinner. This deal seems great to me as I was told the gratuity is also included. Adult is 24.99, child 12.99, you can get all the info on the US website. hth

Are you sure it includes Citywalk ???? Everywhere I've looked has said the parks only.

We just got back and did the two park deal. It did include citywalk and the meals were huge- we ate at Latin quarter twice and it was great!

Is there anywhere I can see what places on City Walk are included in the dining plan ? If we can do that that would be fantastic and I would go for that.

I just didn't want to if we could only eat in the parks and the close so early that we would still have a bunch of hungry kids after our day in the park.

While we were there it was four resturants- latin quarter, Bob Marleys, Pastamore and Pat O'briens- from 5 till 10 p. They said a limited menu but they let us order off the regular menu.

Thanks ! We are going for 2 days in Sept so Dh and I are going to try it while we are there and if we like it we will buy it again for our Dec trip with the whole family !

Do we need to make dinner reservations at any of these restaurants ?

check the website before you buy the meal plan if you are counting on using it for city walk.


there are times when city walk is not included. it depends on your dates.
