Where are places (not rides with lines) that you can cool off or get wet when the heat of summer has fried your head?

Looking for outdooor things that kids may like.

Can you get wet at Camp Jurassic?

What of shady areas for adults to sit?

There are many more places to cool down at IOA than over at the studios. I would suggest Jurassic Park area first since it's mostly shaded over there. A great place to get wet w/o riding is the splash-zone at JPRA. Just stand over in the designated area, and you'll get wet!

I'll also agree with the JPRA area of IOA because of the trees and shade. Plus the Watering Hole bar usually starts their happy hour at 2pm. It's located next to the Burger Digs restaurant. That's also a cool place to go in and look around. You can sit on the back balcony, which over looks the lake and Hulk.

if your talking about universal, you should take them to the Woody Woodpecker area. there are lots of things to do there for the kids and it is a great break area for adults.

Popeye's! A bit on River Adventure. Do Dudley's. With kids, try the Curious George area at US. Misters throughout both parks--try the Coca-Cola ones in the MIB area.
