Placemat Exchange...Sent/Recieved

Mailman just delivered it a few mimnutes ago. Inside the package was a pack of 4 blue checked napkins, and 1 matching blue checked placemat. They are very cute. I have no way of knowing if this is the first package sent out or the 2nd. So I'm still hoping for another delivery. Otherwise, I have no idea what DH is going to set his plate on LOL.

I found the info and contacted them - not sure what happened - or which package that was. They are sending the other 3 placemats - sorry again.

Who knows how many you'll have in the end

YUP. Just 1 little ole placemat. I turned the package inside out just to make sure. I didn't think that was right when i opened it. Anyhow, just tell them to send a few more. They're very cute. But i know these things happen. So no worries. I'm sure the rest will turn up.

It arrived today. So i now have a grand total 2 placemats and 8 napkins LOL. I'm so glad DH has something to rest his plate on now. He'll be glad to see that when he gets home. Dunno how you wanna work it out Leslie. But thanx. Its all very cute.

And officially this brings the placemat exchange to an end. Unofficially, who knows LOL

So here I am thinking, well, with the 4 extra napkins, I could buy complimentary fabric and binding, a couple of pieces of thin batting, and make a set of placemats to go with the 2 that have arrived. Leslie, you need to find out if the people there passed reading comprehension. True lack of quality control. I can see them making one mistake, but the exact same one twice?

Stay tuned for tomorrows episode, what really happened to those 6 errant placemats, rumours abound that they went off to join the missing socks from last weeks laundry.

You have to wonder about companies - I have ordered many times from them - without issue

Seems like the first one to arrive was the first order - yes it shipped incorrect. The replacement was a copy of the original order - shipped wrong again - but is was a copy of the original

Earlier this week - when the first was rec'd I did contact them - the other three were sent - should arrive shortly.

Seems like you'll have a total of 5 placemats - 8 napkins - yes an odd combination - but makes for an interesting end to this exchange
