What are the rules about switching your cruise booked with a placeholder. I’m thinking about booking an April 2026 cruise with my placeholder but if I end up needing to switch the dates, will it allow me to do that? Any way to get it to last for more than 2 years from my initial cruise?

You can change the date as long as you aren't within the penalty period. Don't "cancel" tell them "change" and you'll need to have the new date already picked out. For the discount to be effective the new date will need to be within 2 years of when you purchased the placeholder. DCL won't extend. But the $250 paid for the placeholder will still be applied to the new date, just no discount.
