Hello everyone, Are you able to book a cruise and then apply a placeholder that you purchase on board a later cruise?

Not sure if I understand your question, are you asking if you can book a placeholder to an already booked cruise?

No. Placeholders are for new bookings only. If you wish to apply it, you need to cancel the first booking and rebook the cruise. The new booking would be at the current prevailing rate.

Thanks Marc, Sailing the end of January so we’ll get the placeholder and go from there!

Sometimes. If the 10% discount applied at the prevailing fare at the time you try to apply the placeholder to the already booked cruise will save you money, you will need cancel the original booking and rebook. Usually, the cast members are able to process the rebooking so that you can keep the same stateroom, but this is not guaranteed. We have done this a few times, usually for less-popular itineraries that have not seen significant price increases from opening day prices.
