Place to charge phones?

The Rapunzel bathrooms have charges stations at MK but I am not sure about the other parks

There is also a charging station in the area of the Space Mountain gift shop and I believe in the Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant. Both of these, you lock up your phone and leave it to charge.

For the technologically "slow" like me, do you charge this portable charger up in a wall outlet first, then bring it with you "portably"?

Thanks!:thumbsup2

Looks like VERY COOL!:cool1:

Exactly. We would charge it overnight from a wall outlet after a long day at the park and when we woke up we stuck it in our backpack along with an IPhone cable. When the phones(Mine and my wifes) got low on power we attached the device to the cable and the cable to the phone. Within 30 minutes to an hour we had a bunch of power back on the phones. Wash rinse and repeat each day.

Yes - I heard on a podcast that Cosmic Rays now has free charging stations. You swipe your credit card to open the charging station and to retrieve it but you don't get charged. Pretty cool!

This baby was a god-send on our trip last week. We could charge our phones wherever we went around the park. Just charge it overnight and take it with you everyday to the parks. It's a winner.

I agree. I brought one of these: http://www.amazon.com/Poweradd-trad...049&sr=1-1&keywords=poweradd+portable+charger

and it is a lot easier to use than looking for a charging station which forces you to be stationary. Better to be able to charge on the fly.

If you have kids, try the baby centers. I'll usually get our ice cream snacks and eat in there while the electronics are charging.

One of the reasons I chose my Razr Maxx HD.
Easily lasts a full day and then some. :)

Also, way in the back of the SM gift shop, there was a counter where you can charge your phone while you wait.

Not sure what type of phone you have, Apple or Android. If Android, very likely you have a replaceable battery. Buy one (Amazon is great) and then you just have to pop out the drained battery, pop in the fresh one, like a flashlight. All done in 30 seconds. If you have an Apple, then carrying a separate charger and cables is probably your best choice.

In MK you can find specific "charging stations" at the Rapunzel bathrooms (though MOST of the chargers here no longer work) and over in the Space Mtn gift shop there's a couple of power strips to charge phones.

There are charging lockers in I BELIEVE Cosmic Rays, that are currently free of charge but that won't last.

Don't think there' specific spots in the other parks yet, but there are plug ins all around, through ride queues, and I've had hostesses at restaurants ask when we check in if we'd like to charge our phones while we eat.
