Does anyone know what the requirement is for pre-selected meals and how to do the place cards?
I know my wedding planner said they had to be color coordinated per dish.
I was going to use colored jewels to mark off the meal for each place card.

Does Disney want an individual place card per guest with labeled food choice or can I put one place card per couple with the two food choices on the place card?

Basically it would narrow down to one jewel per place card if I do individual place cards or two jewels if I did couple place cards.

I'm so confused about this! Thanks for all your help!

I had my place cards color coordinated to each entree. Here's what we did:

On the response cards we asked for guest's entree choices and if they didn't all pick the same a quick phone call was made to clarify their choices (yes you need a place card for each guest). I placed a ribbon band around each guest's place card so the servers knew who got what plate and could drop them w/o any hassle of "oh , did you get the Filet/lobster or something else?" (I HATE that at weddings) The only thing I had to do was have distinguishing colors so the servers could see the ribbon in the dimly lit room.

The ribbons each matched our colors so:
Navy: Filet/Lobster
Pink: Seafood Platter
Silver: Chicken
White: Special entree (we had a few allergies/vegetarians)

Here's a couple pics:

If you look closely at the lower right hand corner of this pic you'll see a pink ribboned place card as well as a navy. So you can see how they needed the colors to be very distinguishable.

Hope that clarifies it a little for you. Any other questions just let me know! :thumbsup2

Great idea. We did not need to do this as we had a buffet. I never would have thought of this. Love the way your cards came out.

Thanks Linda! :goodvibes
I was pleased w/ how they turned out. I only wish we'd had a card table so I had a pic of them all lined up (I painstakingly made sure that the ribbons & swarovski crystals were EXACTLY the same on each one), but they already had them placed on the tables which was easier for the guests and expedited the seating process. Oh well! Again, thanks!

We did have a place card table and the cards just told people what table to sit at. I need to get a photo of it on here. I really loved the way they came out. It was a small white box, wrapped in a red ribbon with our names and date on top in red and a black square with the persons name and table number. Unfortunately we did not get a photo of the table - I really wanted to see how it was set up. Misty was with us for after ceremony photos so she missed that photo. I wish I had asked someone to take the photo.
