i am getting really excited about our forthcoming trip, the previous visits Pizza planet was closed, has anyone noticed it open lately, or even better been? we are due to go early september and the kids are dying to visit here!! TIA x:)

Im hoping to find out too as dd really wanted to go on our last visit but it was never open

Hoping it is open in September

I've not seen it be open for a few years now. Some have reported that it was open on "select" days back in june
There are even rumors that it's closed for good (and that would probably be good news, because that sorry excuse for a restaurant was a shame - if you've ever left an open tomato sauce tin can to dry on the countertop for a few days, you'll get an idea of the stench you could smell just after opening the doors ... gross ...)

Just consider that it'll we closed.
If it's open and you're brave enough, then consider it a bonus, and you won't need a reservation anyway.

maybe it's been a good thing we have missed out previously then lol. thanks :)

Too true :sad1:

A real shame though.....as had it been done properly, a toy story themed restaurant should have been a real winner, and my children still loved going and using the play area regardless of the food quality.

I agree, I think it suffered by being in an area of the park that is greatly underused so a lot of people didn't even know it was there. :sad1:

i couldnt even find it on our first visit to dlp, but found it second time around but was closed. my son was into toy story and wanted to go there even though i had heard it was pants.

can i say pants?

we were there last year in July and when we were in March I was told its only open in weekends now...
I must say food is ok but with little one plus if they into Toy story its really good place... shame its closed completely...
maybe they will redo it or so... lets hope I guess...

Where was it?

I think the last time we ate here was about 4 years ago food was not good then, like OP have said such a shame as what little boy into buzz and woody doesn't want to eat in pizza planet !!.
My DS1 now 15 has some great memories of the play area there and we have some good photos as well.
If it had been built in another part of the park I think it would of done really well.

Last time we ate ere was June 2012 and we had no problem at all!! We enjoyed the food, and kids enjoyed it too.... Was hoping to visit it in feb....

We went in December and the food was a disgrace, also agree on the smell, it's was awful

I never saw this restaurant open since I visited the park...
I think they opened it sometimes when the park was crowded and when too many other restaurants were closed. But I would advice to prepare that it will be closed during next months...

ive never ate there, but it would be cool if they were able to move the toy story play area to somewhere, where kids can enjoy it, like a corner of the studios or something. shame to waste it when it looks awesome

I've not eaten in there for years, I think the last time was in 2005 when it was a pizza resturant before they changed it to a buffet resturant.

I don't think it was been open for a few years.

Does anyone else remember the pizza burger they used to serve there?
