? pizza planet at mgm

Hi,

my kids are huge toy story fans - does pizza planet look like it does in the movie? how's the food? I usually avoid all fast food at the parks due to some bad experiences but its toy story so I'm sure we'll have to try it. Any info on it would be greatly appreciated.

Other than having some Buzz, Woody, and Potato Head decor, I would say that it really doesn't have much resemblance to Pizza Planet from the movie. It's basically a big arcade with a fast-food counter at one end and some tables outside and on the second floor. That being said, children that like "Toy Story" may very well still like it just because of the Toy Story association (loose though it is), the fact it serves pizza, and the fact it has an arcade. (My children like it.)

Food quality? I'd call it fast-food "fair". It's mostly personal size pizzas (which aren't bad, but are nothing special...most kids probably like them), with optional salalds. If you haven't seen it, here is their menu:

The pizza there is better than Chuck E. Cheese (as if that is saying something...)

We ate lunch there on our first trip, but after that learned that for the price and what you get, we should have ate elsewhere. If the kids just HAVE to go, make it a stop for a cookie and a drink. We don't think the pizza is all that great. Also, if I remember right, the games were really expencive to play? Like all were 50 to 1.00? I just kinda figured they would be cheaper....

Our kids (now 4 & 8) ALWAYS have to eat here when at MGM. The pizza is ok - our picky DS will eat it so that's a plus. We saw Jessie playing some of the games the last time we were there.

We also like stopping here so we can play a couple games of air hockey.

But no, it doesn't really resemble the pizza planet in the movie.
