Where would you go if you just wanted just a nice, tasty, nothing fancy pizza?(and a beer )

I love  pizza...but haven't found any that is decent in the World. I'm hoping Via Napoli lives up to my expectations but won't make it til Nov.

Somewhere outside of the state of Florida? :rotfl:

The best pizza I've had in FL was at Flipper's near Universal. But other than that (and maybe Via Napoli where I haven't been yet), there isn't much good pizza to be had.

There's a Pizzeria Uno in the Crossroads Plaza - I like Uno's.

I was beginning to think it was just us ....:rotfl: guess not.

Good pizza at WDW? I think it just doesn't happen! Spoodles used to be OK, not sure how the pizza window is now - I haven't eaten there since it changed to Kouzzina.

There is nothing in Disney (short of Via Napoli possibly....haven't been there) that will compare to the pizza you can get at your hometown pizzeria.

That said, if you are looking for something quick, that tastes decent enough, Toy Story Pizza Planet at Disney Studios meets your criteria.

yeah, sorry, I should have added that. So far the only decent pizza we've found, pizza planet - and it usually works out ok because DS loves the break to play some pinball. LOL. I was looking for something a little more authentic pizzeria yet not as fancy as I'm sure Napoli will be.

Oh well. At least I won't be searching. It doesn't exist.

Best pizza on property (really the only GOOD pizza I've had on property) is at Wolfgang Puck Express at Downtown Disney. My mother and I are beyond obsessed with this pizza. We love the Four Cheese Pesto Pizza. I don't know if you would consider that fancy or not, but they have other kinds too. Anyway, we got it three separate times on our last trip and DROOL over the thought of it when we're not there!

There's also a Flippers near Disney. I think it was at Crossroads Plaza. There pizza was really good.

I just found out there is a Giordano's near Disney. I LOVED their pizza in Chicago and I'm looking forward to trying it in Florida next time I go.

There's a place called New York Pizza on Irlo Bronson that I really liked. On property, POP Century has a decent large pizza that's fresh made and takes to cs credits for the pizza, 2 drinks and 2 desserts. More than enough for 2.

I like the pizza from POFQ its super tasty after a long day of travel. But the best pizza is from wolfgang pucks at Down Town Disney :)

We really like the pizza at Wolfgang Puck Express. They are good size and hold up well as left overs!

There is a Flippers in the Crossroads Plaza and they will deliver to WDW. We usually end up ordering a pizza every trip, very good!!!

The pizza at Via Napoli is good, but might not satisfy your craving for pizza.
The crust at VN is very thin--like lavosh. It's quite good, but if you're in the mood for some basic pizza joint stuff, you might be disappointed. We normally go off-site for pizza. We like Uno's or Giordano's.:earsboy:

I wish I knew! All I can say is NOT off the kids menu at Rose & Crown - that thing was nasty!

maybe a local pizzeria would deliver to your resort? I don't know if they do that is Disney but have had it delivered to other hotels.

Where would I go for pizza and beer?

At home @ Gino's East.

At Disney, Pick up a pizza at Giordanos and take back to house and enjoy a beer and pizza by the private pool. Alternative is to pick up a pie at Flippers.
