DS is a big fan of pizza--where is the best place to find this on-site? :bounce:

We like the pizza you get at the resorts. Also, Toy Story Pizza Planet in MGM has all ways been a winner with my kids.

We enjoy the pizza from Wolfgang Puck Express :earsboy:

Excellent choice! I'm the managing editor for a national pizza magazine (yes, it is the best job in the whole world and no, I don't ever get tired of eating it) and I also like the barbecue pizza at the Rainforest Cafe. The proprietary sauce is spicy, however ––*only for the adventurous -- and the za is topped with hand-pulled chicken and chopped cilantro. The pepperoni is a safe bet there, too.

I would definetly recommend Toy Story's Pizza Planet. They have individual pizzas, too.

We have yet to find a pizza anywhere in the world that we liked. The resort pizza (at two resorts) were awful. Toy Story pizza was terrible. The kid's pizza at Pizzafari was better. We have not tried Rainforest, but there are so many things I really like there pizza wouldn't be at the top of the list.

If you have a car, I also recommend NYPD Pizza at 373 North Orange Avenue near downtown (stop at the outlet malls on the way!! :cool1:). Pizza is OK, but the atmosphere is fun ––it's owned by the guy who started the Backstreet Boys, LFO, etc. –– and is set up like a New York police station (pretty cool for boys who want to be cops!).

They don't serve Pizza at WDW. Only a facsimile!

Okay. The pizza I have had at the parks and resort food courts has been okay but nothing was really good. Pizzafari is fine but no big deal. The pepperoni pizza at the Rainforest Cafe was good though not great. I had a flat bread appetizer at the California Grill that was excellent.

I must admit that I have yet to find a great pizza at WDW. The pizza at The Mara at AKL is okay, but somewhat salty. As pizza is one of my favorite foods, this is disappointing. I wish WDW would get a California Pizza Kitchen at DTD....that would be awesome!

the breakfast pizza at wolgang's is awesome. as far as tradition italian pizza, i wouldn't order it in wdw. When in Maryland have crabs, Maine have lobster, the west have beef, NY have pizza, but pizza in Florida just doesn't sound very good.

Anyway it is probably way too expensive for what I consider bad frozen pizza spend your money more wisely and go for something different......try some type of specialty at Epcot...enoy!

In a few months, the Crossroads Center across from the entrance to DTD will have a Famous Famiglia (New York-based) franchise. I'm looking forward to Orlando having some good offerings other than UNO's, CPK and the big three franchises.

But I do have to say, when I'm on vacation, I never order pizza –– there's just something about Le Cellier and the school bread in Norway that steals my heart and tastebuds!

The flatbread pizza's at Mama Melrose were pretty decent. As far as regular pizza at Diseny- nothing is close. The pizza at the resorts is HORRIBLE!

I ordered Room Service Pizza @ the CR one night, and it tasted like my HS Cafeteria Pizza.

I'm a big Italian Food Fan, and as other DIS'ers have posted, have yet to find a 'Great' Pizza Place in WDW.

Thanks for the help. I don't order pizza on vacation, but for my 9 year old, he can't live without it for a week. I'll tell him to keep his expectations low!

I love CPK Thai Chicken Pizza. Sigh.

For fans of Chicago style, you can always order Giordano's delivered to WDW. We often order this when we stay in Chicago and it's so fattening but oh so yum!

if he is 9, he will love toy story pizza planet. dont worry about what the pizza elitists say...every kid loves that pizza.
