Pixue dust

no, all the onsite hotels can provide a little pixie dust :) - but theres no guarantee you'll get some at any of the hotels.

Is it just sequoia, npb, hny and DLH that do pixie dust?

All hotels do this - though true Pixie Dust is rare, it happens!

Seen some amazing pixie dust stories on Trip Advisor. Just a little sprinkle of pixie dust on our trip in September would be fab! Any ways to encourage Tink to sprinkle pixie dust? Also if anyone has any pixie dust experiences id love to hear them :)

We have had some lovely PD over the years from water, flowers and VIP (turn up anytime) breakfast slots to plushes and an invitation to trial the menu for Bistrot Chez Remy. If you email guest communications about how excited you are to bring the kids, what the trip means, what you guys are looking forward to etc but don't expect anything then everything or anything you get is a big plus!
We had a particularly rough while losing both my husbands brother and recently his Dad and my DH, who wasn't coming with us) took it upon himself to email guest relations and ask them to help make our trip extra special (he won't give me details of what he actually wrote!) And we got some amazing pixie dust! That was the Chez Remy meal and a Copper plush for each of the kids.
It's worth a try. Hope you get some pixie dust!

We recieved some pixie dust in the Studios park last week. We were asked by a CM what my favourite ride was (RnRC) and we were given exit passes for it to go straight on. The same CM also found out I collect pins as we were chatting so she gave me a voucher to choose 2 pins of my choice for free in the shop.

On a previous trip to celebrate my parents 40th wedding anniversary we were given rooms with a balcony at the Disneyland hotel.

My work friend, who had stayed at Sequoia Lodge for the same week 5 years in a row, recieved an upgrade to one of the lake view rooms with a balcony and when she entered the room there was a lovely clock waiting for her as well as a bunch of flowers and some champagne.

Do you happen to remember the room number at the DLH by any chance? A balcony would be fabulous!

We're staying at cheyenne and haven't heard any pixie dust stories. I will email them nearer the time, we went last December and missed out on so much as hadn't discovered the message boards. We went for three days but only got a day and a bit there due to rubbish travelling times. Since then kids have been saving every bit of pocket money and birthday money to go back! They have no idea we're going back and this time we're going for 5 days and travelling direct to disney. Also the first time I'm taking them in my own so I know the trip is going to be that little bit more magical, pixie dust would just be a bonus

If you include that bit about looking forward to having 5 whole days as you had bad arrival & departure times on your 1st visit that may help towards pixie dust!
I did a trip last year on my own with the kids and was surprised by how great it was! We did loads and suited ourselves. The kids really enjoyed it.

I'm looking forward to being able to do out own thing.. There were 8 of is last year aged from 1 - 40 so it was manic as you can imagine trying to do what everyone else wanted to do in a day and a half! Was a bit nervous at first taking them on my own but I'm quite excited about it now! 5 days with my favourite people in my favourite place :)

I searched for my trip report from that trip. We were in room 1358. It was one of the rooms in the turrets on the right hand side as you appoach the hotel from the village. We had a view of Fantasia Gardens.

We stayed at Cheyenne 3 years ago for my dad's retirement and I emailed ahead. Upon arrival their room was covered in balloons. Reception knew them as the checked in and there was a letter signed by fab 5 congratulating him in his retirement! Was enough pixie dust for him!

We will be arriving in the Cheyenne 5 days after my 30th birthday. Don't think hubby will think to ask for a little pixie dust so may have to take it upon myself! We fly out on the 21st September, how far ahead should I email?

Lol as soon as you arrive your fears will leave! I loved the freedom. We took it in turns to choose rides and it was lovely to go with the flow. How old are your l.o's?

Thank you so much! I've made a note of the number.

I would email in the week leading up to you going. Rooms aren't allocated too far in advance but also go to City Hall and get a birthday sticker! You'll get lots of CMs wishing you a happy birthday and it's nice to have a bit of fuss!

My little boy is 6 and my daughter is 3 and a half (Christmas Day baby). I'm so excited to try the new ratatouille ride! DS isn't much of a ride person but I'll try and get him on as much as I can. Character hunting I think will be the big deal for him. Going to see descent of the stairs on the Sunday and heard that the brunch theme is Africa which is exciting

Was it a room that only had 1 bed? only reason I ask when we went I asked for a balcony room and was told that they only sleep 2 people and as there was 4 of us they couldn't provide that but gave us a ground room floor with patio instead right by the park entrance which was lovely as it was summer.

Thank you so much! I've made a note of the number.

Not sure how many are in your party but as I mentioned above I don't think the rooms with balconies sleep more then 2, it may have changed but that is what I was told when I stayed there.

We are going to have a bash at this. We are going specifically for my 40th birthday and paying for the 1 and only stay in the DLH. But we couldn't actually arrive on my actual birthday because I couldn't get the day off work (as I kindly let my 2 department staff have the day off instead). We arrive the day after my birthday instead.

Heyho, you never know. If you don't ask you don't get!!
