DD(5) wants them for her birthday. I'm sure it's junk, but at least it's not expensive junk.

She goes on their website and designs her own pattern.

My DS wants these, too. These are the replacements for the AquaDots that were recalled last year. I am still a little leary of these....

We had aquadots. They were fun for DD9 to play with, until I found out they could kill her!!! Now they have a safer version, but I refuse to buy them. I never received any refund or compensation for the product I couldn't use. We actually threw out all the dispensers and grids too, so I don't want to invest in this lousy company.....

I don't know how the new version is, but the old ones held together well if the design wasn't too spread out or made of single strands of beads.

WHat exactly are these things? my DS wants them for christmas. with a 1 year old running around, i am not too sure these are a good toy to have! I have no clue what they are or what you do with them? From the other posts i have read, it looks like Santa wont be bringing them!!

My son got them for his birthday. They work OK. You really have to douse them with a LOT of water for them to stay together. It says they are ready in a few minutes - but ours had to dry over night. He seemed to lose interest in them quickly.

Ugh! My daughter wants Pixos (and every other informercial-type toy) for Christmas. Luckily, she also wants "Spike the Dinosaur", which is huge. I don't know if Santa will be able to fit both boxes down the chimney, so he'll just have to surprise her with one (hopefully, it will be Spike).
