Hi, just read your PTR, and your daughter is adorable. Glad everyone is feeling better!!

My trip is not until next summer but we are all quite the Disney fanatics here and we're starting up with our Disney nights next week too and I did not know about that website. Very cool, I will go there for some craft ideas!!

Hope GenevaClaire went back to school ok!

The Disney parties sound wonderful! I might have to steal some of your ideas! I can't believe how time is flying by!

She was soooo happy to go back to school--tons of still coughing, runny nose kids in her class though--UGH. Can you believe tomorrow is the 60 day mark!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOO HOOOOOOO!!
Go right ahead and steal away--it's going to be some fun stuff to play with!

***Heads up, Michaels has the carveable craft pumpkins on sale this week (sale ends Saturday)--I went ahead and stocked up so we would have them for our Disney style pumpkins! I'm going to try and do a white princess pumpkin for GC's room:)Plus they have all the Disney princess toys and all the other crafts on sale--it's the ones that are normally a dollar but they are marked down to 50% off--so 50 cents each! They even have the miracle bubble keychains on sale for .50 cents too! The Easter bunny brought them to her and it's awesome to have it attached to her day backpack--great distraction  It's going to be fun stuff for the airplane ride and gifts that Tink will leave her at the hotel--plus some for just fun between now and then. I need to take pic of all the goodies--but I have to wait till lil miss nosy isn't up and running around, lol.
--I've been searching out the clearance sales for summer type clothes for all of us and I have found some serious killer deals--I've lost almost 30 pounds so far and have another 20 to go between now and the trip so I'm buying the smaller sizes, it's soooooooo nice to fit into smaller sizes again-not to mention I'm getting all of my deals under 10.00--most are 5.00 and under, so if you're looking for summer stuff for next year or for a winter Dis trip :) go check out Target and Walmart. Got GenevaClaire some shorts in size 6--for 2.00 a pr--bought every pair they had, lol. Just need to hit up the other target this weekend and see what they have left--and Gymbucks started today so that's another thing I have to do this weekend--go hit the clearance/sale racks at Gymboree and use up my gymbucks!
Ok So I guess that last coffee was a little much, lol. I'm rambling from the caffeine:surfweb: I'm off to make Grilled chicken salads for dinner!

Veronica

I'm soooo jealous! I'm trying to lose that last 10-15lbs and gained 2!! :headache: To be fair to myself tho it's redistributed since I joined Curves at the beginning of the month.
I am so hitting Target this weekend...we all need new stuff and those prices can't be beat. I need to get new clothes for all of us for the trip since we don't have anything that fits the kids (glad they're healthy but the frequent growth spurts kill my bank account).
I love the idea of all the little "goodies" I may have to borrow that one too. We're working on the autograph books and making t-shirts and such. I just hope I don't run out of time before we have to leave.

60 more days....:woohoo::woohoo: I'm so excited for you guys...she's gonna have so much fun!

So we are in the ER and will be for a while.......Amelia has croup.....diagnosed Wednesday but it got way worse last night. She and Dave are sleeping so I thought I would get some dis time in.

I just bought lots of stuff online at old navy and gymboree for Amelia. Gymboree had free shipping if youspend over$100 and old navy had extra 15% if you spent over 75 plus I had a 20%coupon for gymboree. I ended up getting lots for both fall and some summer stuff for disney.

Are you bringing clothes for boyh warm and cold weather? I am so worried about what type of clothes to bring. Last year it was chilly during that week and the year before it was hot.

OH NO--how is she?? Croup is nasty, nasty stuff.Way to go on the sales at Old navy and Gymboree! I've got a cart full of stuff at Old navy, I just keep waiting to get another coupon, I missed that 15% off sale:mad:-- For GenevaClaire, I'm bringing summer stuff for the days, but most of it can be layered with leggings and long sleeve type shirts underneath if it's cold enough. For the night time I'm bringing leggings, long sleeve shirts/sweaters--so hopefully that will cover it. Ben can wear shorts in 40 degree weather and still be hot so I'm not to worried about him--I'll throw a few pairs of jeans in just in case--for me a combo of the two :)

Do you like Curves? We have one close to home but I wondered if I would like it or not...Check out Dollar tree and Dollar general too!

I really like it. It's resistance training with some cardio-as low key or intense as you make it. Good for someone like me with multiple back, shoulder and ankle injuries. I've feel better and my back is much stronger just in the month I've been there. I say take it easy to start and build up to more reps. Our Curves won't let you start the new CurveSmart until you've been there for atleast 1 month. I'm waiting until we get back so it won't kill me when it ups my workout...:lmao: .

I'm going to have to check out Dollar Tree, ohhh and I haven't been in Dollar General in ages (tend to spend too much there ;) ).

Lamping3-
I hope Amelia is starting to feel better. Mikayla had croup at about 2 1/2 and it was miserable. We spent lots of time in the bathroom with the hot shower steaming the place up since that was the only relief she could get. :grouphug: rest as you can so you stay well.

Her 1st trip to Disney is to celebrate her life, her struggles and her triumph over it all--she started her life as a preemie princessprincess: and now she finally gets to meet the Disney princesses!

Hello Veronica! :wave2:

You've taken my breath away in only two posts! I'm hooked and going back for more; just wanted to let you know I was here!

Your daughter is beautiful. princess:

Amelia is doing a lot better! Just a nasty cough....no more waking up at night coughing/crying/gasping for air! The ER doc said it sounds much worse than it really is.

I plan on taking a little of both for Amelia....some capris and sweaters for the am and some dresses with leggings underneath. Dave is the same way as your DH.....he wears flip flops as for as long as I let him get away with them! :rotfl: We buy long-sleeved shirts for him but I rarely see him wear them at home....just for outings or family events...he just gets too hot! I told him he might need to take a few pairs of jeans for the evenings and pairs to wear travelling there and home. I think he thought he would wear shorts on the plane! It gets cold here in December! I have jeans and some capris.....I am usually pretty cold so even if it is in the 70's I will be wearing jeans. I have a good feeling I will be majorly overpacking!

So glad she's better...I know I'm late responding...we've all been sick too.

I'm sure I'll overpack too. It's so hard to judge since I'm in Indiana and it's already getting COLD here. I'd say jeans and both long & short sleeves is safe since your heading there in 48 days (YEA!! :cool1: ).

How's GenevaClaire doing! Is she getting excited yet? We're down to 19 days and I think I'm the most excited person here. :upsidedow

Have you heard anything new about the trip?...I'll be waiting (im)patiently for all the news...popcorn::

You guys are getting so close, very exciting. How's Geneva Claire doing with school so far? We've been lucky, Piper hasn't brought home any bugs yet, but..the school nurse is also required to call me when anyone in her class is sick so I can pick Piper up. I think most of the school systems are being more vigilant this year about sending kids home, which works out great for us! Just wanted to let you know I was still here :)

Aw thanks for thinking of us! She's doing great in school, so far since the H1N1 flu, she's remained healthy. I can't believe how fast time has flown. I'm still not 100% since the h1n1 flu, I still have some serious congestion and bronchial issues and completely exhausted, but I'm hoping it will eventually go away. It's been a month since I contracted it, so it's got to go away eventually (i hope)
It's hard to believe but we're at the 37 day mark:banana: I'm excited, scared and overwhelmed, despite all of my planning, lol.

I'm so glad she's doing better. :cool1: There's a huge front page write up in our local paper-if you've got the flu....it's H1N1-no seasonal flu cases so far. Guess who's family got it?....and yes, we got the Tamiflu within 24 hrs and all are well. I can't shake this cough but I'm also now on anitbiotics for bronchitis and feeling 110% better today than yesterday.
I can't believe how fast time is going....you're in double digits!!! You must be so excited! Start packing now...time flies and our trip is here in a week...your's will be here before you know it. :goodvibes

Look at you guys--1 week and 2 days!!!!! WOW!!! Yep I'm starting to get stuff together, last minute sewing stuff from my mom for GenevaClaire--still waiting on her Princess Aurora Dress from the seamstress :) Can't wait. I'm going to update right below this, lol!
