Wow Karin! What a great departure day. The ship is just beautiful. You really were pixie dusted with luck that day. It is just awesome so many CM's remembered you guys. That makes the cruise just that much more special.

Loved seeing the new gift, the backpack, you received. We will get ours in just 5 days now. Woo Hoo! Sorry, I'm getting so very excited. And Tom does a wonderful job on your magnets. I kinda fell behind on making any for this trip. Oh, well, I'm just gonna use some old ones I have.

All the food looks absolutely delish that you had for lunch. And your drinks from Cove Cafe look really good too. Too bad I don't like coffee.

I'm not even a little surprised people remember you guys!! You both are so nice to everyone and you're big Disney fans! That is so nice and I'm glad you got to see them as well!

My DS and I try and watch the Dream on the webcam when we can and heck we might have seen you with your cute mickey gloves!!

I'm glad you had a nice surprise with the bathroom too!! See, it's the little things in life, right?

Karin! Here I am, catching up again, but it is so much fun to catch up! Oh.my.goodness. LOVE the round tub and shower. What a fabulous stateroom!

It was so much fun watching the ship leave, but didn't find you or Tom...somehow I missed that you'd be wearing the white Mickey Gloves - what fun and so clever!!

Your cabin looks very high on deck 10 - don't want to think about how high deck 12 would be!!

I have to say (maybe I have already) but I really appreciate that you put dates on your updates. I would be so confused if you didn't!! Following all your reports I find myself having to ask "wait... which trip is this again" So...the dates are very helpful!

We had the round tub in our stateroom too. Rachel said that was the best part of the room. Love your Mickey gloves....great idea. I can't believe Rachel and I missed that Mochaccino....we love those. Love your trip report and photos.

I apologize for not updating and answering your posts any sooner, but we had a busy weekend.
Busy with decisions for our 2013 vacation.
For those of you who don't frequent my pre-trip report, here's a little recap.

I tried to figure out flight prices for our 2013 vacation which should have included a stay at WDW, a 7 night cruise and a little over two weeks to visit California.
Now this weekend I priced the vacation using 2012 dates, to give me an idea on what we would have to pay in airfare. Well, it was more than I had hoped for and we got talking if we wanted to spend all that money just on airfare.

Decision was that we would push the California portion back to 2014 or 2015 and instead of two weeks stay for four weeks.
That left us with a two week "hole" in our 2013 vacation and we have now decided to fill by adding a Western Caribbean cruise to the Eastern Caribbean cruise on the Fantasy, which we had already booked. Used my February cruise to modify to the summer one (so not to loose the discount and stateroom credit) and we are now booked on a back to back Fantasy cruise for 2013!
Can't wait to spend 14 nights on board!

The round tub was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!
When we thought about a stateroom for 2013 it was one of the main factors in stateroom category. I could have easily spent most of my vacation in that shower - it was so wonderful!

Could it be that real life gets in the way of our DISlife?
I had to when I read your trip report and you mentioned the Nachos! We had no idea of what to expect and found them to be really yummy - and the serving was HUGE!!
Our view from the balcony at the Poly was awesome! I could not believe the direct view of the castle.
And the round tub was just AWESOME! Even though it took me a while to figure out that something was different in our room.

We love Cove Cafe! Never crowded and the coffee concoctions they serve are so good! They also offer you some "food" to go with it as well - I might have a cookie or two in the summer to go with the yum yum coffee!

We are now spoiled after we have been in a family staterooms ! There was a bit more space actually and the round tub was just wonderful!

What stateroom do you have? Will you be on the port side? If so, you'll have an awesome view of CC!






Sorry, need to stop and leave the rest for tonight ..... off to work to earn some money for Mickey.
