I've got an astronomy test in about an hour and I'm stressing. I studied pretty hard last night and I've been studying for the last 2 hours and I need a break. I never stress over a test but then again I've never had a professor like this one. Most of his work at our school is for NASA and he's head of the department so he thinks our class should know everything about astronomy. This midterm is worth 40% of our grade in the class and he's giving it too us early so if we fail it when can drop the course. (how nice of him) The worst part is that he didn't give us a study guide or any chapters to look over the book! All we have are our notes and he said that he doesn't follow the book but we're responsible for whats in it! Does this guy have anything better to do? OK, back to studying...thanks listening :) ;)

UGH!

Good Luck!! Astronomy Tests are the worst! I had an idiot for my professor who didn't know what he was talking about. I can't even imagine taking astronomy from someone who does know what they are talking about.

Have fun studying about blackbodys, albedos, and stellar gases! I'm sure it will help you out in life one day!;) ;)

:D

   Keeping you in my thoughts... 40% wow....

Good luck! He sounds as good as my Psych professor. Our first test was on 4 chapters of which she gave us 42 objectives for and also said we're responsible for what's in the chapters whether they've been covered in class or not. I'm glad I pulled a "B" on that test! She doesn't teach, she doesn't answer our questions. She tells us to look things up in the book. Sometimes what's pertinent to the question isn't in the book.

Ugh! I've had professors like that and hated them! Good luck! Sending PD your way!

I didn't see this until now, but I hope it went well Kyle :)

 I'm a huge astronomy buff, I even have my own telescope. I once had my own website and all. Hopefully you do good on the test. :D
