Pixie Dust for Good Scores!

My daughter (a sophomore) is taking her first-ever AP exam (AP US Politics) as I write this.

I thought it might be nice for all of us to sprinkle a little pixie dust for her and all our kids over the next couple of weeks who are taking on this challenge!

I could also do with some academic pixie dust, I am currently revising for my final university exams, and finishing off writing my dissertation (I think they call them a 'thesis' in the US, completely from my own research).

Maybe this explains my increased Dis usage!

Great idea Lori!! My son takes his first one this year on Friday. The kids around here just took three days of TAKS test (standardized testing that's needed to pass high school), and the SAT on Saturday. Now they have all the AP tests starting. Busy few weeks. I feel for them. So prayers and pixie dust will definitely help!!!

Good luck to all the kids taking AP exams. They're pretty tough. I know from experience (I failed my first AP test ). But I'm sure that you'll all do just fine. I just happened to be horrible at studying, and it was history. Not my best subject. haha

I also have a little pixie dust request. It's finals week at college for me, and I'm struggling a bit with the final paper I have to write for my religions class. Any good luck sent my way would be greatly appreciated.

My dissertation is on a slightly delicate subject, about a certain kind of education *wink wink, nudge nudge* both inside and outside schools in 1950's Britain.

I have written the first draft, and now I am fiddling with it trying to make it have a strong argument!

it's great that she's taking it! i took the English one "for fun" (weird kid...) and was very happily surprised when i got to college and suddenly had credit for English classes! Had i known THAT, i would have taken all of them!
