Pirates Sneak Preview Question

Hi all:

I don't entirely understand the "Pirates Sneak Peek." We will be there when it's showing, but it is the whole movie? Or is it just parts of the movie? Why does it go from 8 - 11:45 pm: in other words, is it one long show, where you stay in the arena for nearly 4 hours?

Confused! We'll be there while it's on... :wizard:

It's just a sneak peak not the whole movie. Consider it an extended trailer of the film.

It runs for those hours because it's basically from dark to park close because the screen is outdoors. So the preview starts over again and again.

Thanks for the clarification. It sounds a tiny bit dull, but we'll see how it goes. We're not huge fans of the movies anyway (is that blasphemy?). :)

I'm going April 23-28th and was really excited about the pirates sneak peak! Has anyone been to it yet & can give me any details? I have been watching the site to see if anyone mentioned it!pirate:

It's A LOT of fun! The line started about 6:00. They let us in around 7:45. Closer to time to let us in, pirates were working the crowd. It runs continuously through the night, except during fireworks. If you have a stroller, bring it with you in line and it gets parked inside. There's a little pre-show with pirates and then the preview. They're referring to it as an exclusive trailer, but I'd consider it more a scene of the movie, followed by the usual trailer we've seen online. The 3D was cool and everyone was cheering at the end. Captain Jack hangs out at the exit for pics. We will go again and it did it's job by making us excited for the movie to come out! pirate:

DD24 & I walked over to stand in line for the preview in the BBQ Ranch area last night. We were about 30 minutes ahead of the first showing and the line was INSANE! :scared1: It was all the way beyond the restrooms that are in FL just before the walkway to Big Thunder. There were many "pirates" at various places in the line entertaining and we could hear people laughing as we walked by. The CM at the end of the line said that the shows were every 30 minutes and the end of the line was looking at a 90 minute wait. No thanks. :sad2:

How exciting that you got to see it lapdwife. :yay:
I am sure we will see the movie anyway. But it would have been fun to see the preview. Maybe the later viewings are not as crazy-busy?

We got to the line around 7ish, and it was wrapped from the entrance by the petting zoo almost over to the pond by Big Thunder, and then all the way back past the entrance to Big Thunder Ranch BBQ.

We came back after fireworks, and the line was much shorter. The later it gets, the shorter the line. If you're a Pirates fan in anyway, I definitely recommend doing it, especially because the pre-show pirates are hilarious.

We will only have 1 day to do this - next Sunday - do you think the lines will diminish towards the end of the evening - did you notice when you were there?

We saw it last weekend. We had heard first showing was crazy busy. We just randomly walked there and just in time to get seated before it started so we didn't experience any line. You sit on the ground. They have some active pirates for your entertainment and the short clip. My family isn't into those movies so it was wasted on us. I am glad we were able to see it but wouldn't have felt like we missed out if we didn't.
