Pirates reopening date in March?

Last I heard, the Pirates of the Caribbean was supposed to reopen around Mar. 18th. Is this still the case? I've been trying to book a FP for Mar. 22nd to no avail. I noticed that the following week has availability though. Has the reopening date been changed, or is Disney holding back FP's until they're sure it will reopen by the 18th. TIA!

Oh wow I thought for sure it would be closed for months to put in the new scene. Glad to see that I'll be able to do Pirates in April!

I guess they're just holding back fast passes then. I'll keep checking! Glad you'll be able to enjoy it on your trip!

I couldn't get a FP for March 24. My best bet is they are holding FP for a couple weeks after so they won't have to deal with cancelling them, if refurb runs long.

Our second MK day is Mar 22 (first is March 18 so knew that was out) and as of last week, the earliest day I could see Pirates FP was March 23. I just checked now and March 23 is still available. March 24 as well. Hopefully as we get closer everything will stay in track and I can get ours for March 22.

I really don't want to switch out plans for our last 2 days. Worst case I'll try to get it as a 4th or later FP on March 23 or 24 after our regular plans. Otherwise, we'll be back in June. But pirates is one of my favs.

Ooh, weird! When I checked it wasn't available- perhaps just a glitch as MDE was having major issues that day anyway haha.

I got a FP for 3/25 when I did ours about two weeks ago...didn't realize this was cutting it so close after reopening time!
